I woke up around what felt like 9, like usual, but in a new setting, hunters cabin.
I shook Drew to life, "we need to go."
He sat up and looked around, "oh my god."
We both quietly but quickly got on our clothes, rushing around the house, what time was it!?
I grabbed my phone from my jean shorts, 10 am!?!
"Drew we need to go," I grabbed his hand and ran out, the cold wind smacking my face as I opened the door.
"Wait! I need to lock the door!" he spoke grabbing the key from under the mat and locked the door.
"What are we going to say to our parents!" I asked him, fear crushing me.
"We went to mcdonalds," he said and we both ran.
"On feet?" I asked him, I panted a little.
"On penny board," he said and I giggled.
In about 3 minutes we were back to our 'special spot' and he grabbed the blanket that he left there earlier.
"Ok we can stop running," he spoke out of breath and panting.
I nodded my head in agreement as we walked back home, holding each others hand.
"Alright, I had fun," I smirked, kissing his lips, "bye."
"Bye," he said kissing my lips once again, and walked up the pathway of his house, as I did, and opened my door.
"Oh welcome home Lillian! how was sneaking out?" My mom asked, sitting on the couch, my dad no where to be seen.
I couldn't speak, "I-I didn't-"
"Please, save it, me and Mrs. Phillips already know, so where'd you go?"
"We just... stayed outside at the bridge for like an hour.... and we went to Mc Donald's this morning... we didn't do anything," I told her, my face flushed red.
"Mhmm well, your grounded. Give me your phone," she spoke holding out her hand.
I dropped my phone into her palm, and walked up to my room, "By the way Drew's grounded to!"
"What!?!" I yelled, coming back down.
"He just texted you," she shook my phone.
I scoffed and rolled my eyes, coming upstairs and looking through my window into Drew's, trying to catch his attention.
He was there.
I opened my window and so did he, "my mom took my phone."
"Oh, sorry," he chuckled.
"It's ok, it's probably just for a day," I giggled.
"So will you be able to come to the New Years party?"
I nodded my head, "why not? I go every year," I giggled and he smiled.
"Sweet."
We had spent both of our days in our rooms, sitting at our windows, talking to each other, playing truth or dare, or 20 questions.
We did this for the whole time, I was grounded, but he wasn't, lucky him. Having care-free parents.
We had stayed up late, and listened to music, carelessly doing things.
