Jareth

Jareth felt his heart was going to burst as he flew through he sky. Every part of him was itching to go back to the window and see her again but he knew better. If he wanted her forever, he couldn't ruin it all for another glance. He would have to live off the memory, for now. As expected she had grown into a beautiful woman. A very beautiful woman. Those big green eyes were exactly how he remembered them though, he was glad. He wondered if she was still as dramatic as she was back then. It was his favorite quality about her.

He landed in a dark alley between two abandoned buildings. Azure was standing to the side waiting for him. She looked bored as always. When he morphed back into his true she opened a blue portal in the wall for them to ascend back to the Goblin Kingdom. As they were stepping in, he heard her grumbling under her breath. "Dear Azure", he said sarcastically "Please do tell me what troubles you?" Azure glared at him and rolled her eyes. "I'm worried you might have scared her too much with your... visit", she mumbled. Jared grinned and said "Well of course, she thought she was rid of me but fate is not so kind is it?" Azure glared at him again before walking off to the goblin catacombs. She was staying with Moro until she was needed again. Bringing her to the Goblin Kingdom would bring too much attention but he knew she would rather jump in the bog of eternal stench before living with him. He smirked at the thought.

From the Goblin catacombs,  he morphed back into an owl and flew to the Goblin Kingdom. His mind was racing with his memories of Sarah. He felt lighter than ever and flew faster out of pure glee until he reached the kingdom. He flew into his bedroom window and went back to his true form. However, his feathery mood was dashed as soon as he heard loud noises coming form outside his bedroom door. The chambermaids were always causing a commotion for no reason. He rushed outside to silence them only to almost trip over goblin servants scrambling though the halls like rats.  The goblin servants were running around frantically, trying to tidy up as much as they could which only meant one thing, surprise guests.

A goblin chamber maid noticed Jareth trying to sneak back into his bedroom and shouted "Sire! Sire! Lady Breyette and Lord Grayven are here to see you, they are waiting in the lounge room." With that, she scurried away with the rest of the servants.

Jareth sighed and made his way past the scrambling servants towards the lounge room. A lot of his family members had tried to visit him during his "crisis". He had managed to avoid them for months by flying off for "important matters" at their earlier arrivals. Jareth knew it pleased them to see him vulnerable. However, his younger sister Breyette and his cousin Grayven were very persistent with their visits, sometimes they even stayed over for a couple of days. He was sure they did that to annoy him. It's what they were good at.

Jareth pushed open the giant silver doors of the lounge room. Upon stepping in the room, he heard the high pitched squeal of Breyette. "Jareth! Your hair! It makes you look like father", she yelled with excitement before running up from the chair to hug him. Her honey blonde hair was put up with white goblin lilies that matched her frilly pink and white dress. After hugging him, she touched his shortened platinum hair.

"What would mother say", she whispered. If Breyette's eyes weren't the same blue as his, he would have never believed they were related. He grabbed her tiny wrist and moved her hand away. "Breyette why are you here?" he asked, not hiding his annoyance. She pouted and from across the room he heard Grayven laugh. "Oh Jareth, didn't you miss us?", he cooed. His head was cocked to the side and short dark curls bounced at his forehead. Jareth was silent and watched at Grayven walk to the sword display with his hands behind his back. He  suddenly turned around and threw a dagger in Jareth's face.
