Part 48

It was a long day. Everyone's gone now. Aditya insisted on staying, but I wanted everyone to rest. Louis, Liam, Niall came to visit. Harry and Zayn did not. They wished me well and sat for a while talking about their families and stuff. They were all gonna go back home to visit their families. It was nice knowing how grounded these boys are, even after them being the biggest boyband in the world. After they left Dad, Aditya, Aliya and Ayaan came to visit. Yes Ayaan! It had been ages since I had seen him last. I hadn't even talked to him in days! There was a lot of crying.Though he can be very annoying at time, but I really missed him. He couldn't come in the past few days 'cause dad thought it would be better to not to tell him. But Dad had called him only yesterday and he landed today afternoon. They wanted it to be a surprise for me. Meeting him really lifted my mood.

After they left, I took a shower. It's always too awfully cold in these rooms, so Aliya brought me a few pair of socks and some hoodies. I warm myself up as I put on a pair of socks, get into my black sweat pants and an orange hoodie. I dim the lights of this very bright room. I slowly walk towards bed and get into the covers comfortably.

Harry's POV

I walk towards the alley behind the hospital, through which I left today afternoon. The alley is dark and wet and has some kind of an awful smell. This the the only way I can sneak Aditi out. I don't know exactly why I'm doing this? I want to take her out for her to get some fresh air, may be a little strolling on the street, grab some good tasty food on the way back. I shouldn't be picturing all this when I know she's taken. She has feelings for Varun and he does for her. I shouldn't be the one coming in between them. But I still can not ignore the pang of jealousy and hurt that rises in my stomach. Didn't our kiss mean anything to her?

"Ah Rob!" I greet the security guard on duty near the fire exit. He's an old chubby man, with a bald patch in the middle of his grey haired head.

"Mr. Styles! You're exactly on time." He says as he opens the door for me.

"Call me Harry, Rob." I smile kindly at him. I gently pat his shoulder as I walk past him through the door.

"What floor do you have to get to?" He asks.

"7th." Reply as my eyes follow the stairs. 7th floor....I definitely haven't thought this through.

"Good thing that your young, these old knees will give up on me before I even reach the 1st floor." He laughs and it echoes around.

I chuckle at him, "Thanks a lot Rob."

"No problem Harry." He says as he closes the door. I start climbing up.

When I reach the 7th floor I slowly open the door, which opens with a creak. I take a peep, making sure there's no one around. Thankfully there isn't anyone around in the corridor, though I can hear someone talking in the doctor's office. I walk to Aditi's room and turn the knob. The lights inside are dimmer and it's awfully cold. I see Aditi's figure fast asleep on the bed. I walk in slowly and close the door behind me.

I tip-toe to the bed and see her beautiful, peaceful face. She's breathing softly with her chest moving up and down at a slow pace. I don't want to wake her up. Maybe, this is a bad idea. I could have just smuggled some food in a bag or something. I don't necessarily have to take her out, do I? But I want to take her out. Let her get some fresh air. A little stroll down on the streets would help her. Maybe I might kiss her. Ah! Stop the imagination Harry!

I shake my head, I should just leave. I take one last look at Aditi and slowly turn back around and tip-toe back to the door. But before I could reach the door, phone beeps loud twice. I spin around quickly to see Aditi stiring in her sleep. I hastily shove my hands in my pocket to take out my phone. These bloody tight jeans!

I take out the phone, but before I could put it on silent, there's a string of loud beeps and my head snaps to Aditi whose eyes flutter open. She sits up quickly with her finger pointed at me, her eyes wide open.

"WHAT THE...." she shouts. My phone slips out of my hands as I take one long stride, jump on her bed, my hands covering her mouth, trying to stop her from screaming. Her eyes are wide open with shock as she looks at me.

"SHHHH!"

"Mmmm ummm mmm umm mm!"

"What?" I whisper.

She rolls her eyes and grabs my wrist moving it away from her mouth.

"What the hell Harry?!" She whisper shouts.

"I told you I'd help you!"

"Help me with what?! A heart attack!"

"No! I was gonna take you out. You know to eat."

She looks at me with confusion written all over her face.

"I want to sneak you out so we can get some food! Come on get up!" I whisper-yell as I get off the bed and pick up my phone, putting it on silent this time.

"You know you could've instead just sneaked the food in." She teases as she bites her lips trying to hold back her laughter.

"Fine, I'll just leave then." I shrug as I turn around.

"No wait!"

I turn back around and smirk at her. She standing close to the bed. I knew she wants to come.

"What's wrong? Don't you want me to get some food?" I ask her innocently.

"No, I....I want to..." she trails off, looking uncertain.

"You want to what?" I raise an eyebrow.

"I want to come okay!" She huffs, crossing her arms.

I hold back my laughter.

"Okay then. What are you waiting for? Let's go!"

"Yeah okay." She says but I can tell she's definitely over thinking about this.

"Aditi we're not doing anything wrong. We're just gonna go out and get some food. That's it." I tell her as I walk towards her and grab her shoulders.

"I've never sneaked out before. What if Aditya or Dad come to know? What is the security catches us?" She looks at me with wide eyes.

"Then consider this as one of your little adventures. The first time you sneak out. Come on Aditi! Live a little!" I give her shoulder a squeeze. She looks into my eyes and gives me a smile and nods her head.

"So shall we?" I smirk at her, as I put my hand forwards.

She stares at my hands and then looks at me. Her eyes now gleaming and a wide smile across her face.

"We shall." She says excitedly as she puts her small hand in mine. He hands are warm, even after this room being super cold. I look down at our hands and see that her hands fit perfectly in mine. I shake my head and push the thought aside.

I pull her with me and walk to the door, she being close behind me. She holds my arm as I open the door slightly and look out.

"The coast is clear." I tell her in a serious tone making her giggle.

I wink at her, "Let's go." I open the door fully and briskly jog towards the fire exit door.

I open the door and get outside, closing the door quickly behind us.

"Come on! We've got seven floors to descend!" I tell her and I pull her as we run down the steps, taking two at a time. I can hear Aditi laughing, which makes me smile.

When we finally reach the ground floor, we're out of breath, panting hard.

"Our little adventure awaits!" I tell her as I pull open the door.
