Chapter 6

After a nice quick shower, I put on my denim shorts and a grey T-shirt and made my way to the kitchen. It was loud with people talking and the clattering of plates and spoons.

"You ate my omelette! The one with the green chilies was mine you dum dum!"

"No wonder it is so spicy! How could I tell it was the one with the chilies? Can SOMEBODY pass me a bottle of water?!"

"You have legs. Use them you lazy ass."

I chuckle as I hear their ridiculous conversations. I walked into the kitchen and found everyone to be sitting around our dining table. Only Kiara and Mohit were the one's cooking. Mohit was chopping up the veggies whereas Kiara was by the stove making omelettes for everyone.

"You guys don't understand the meaning of peace, do you?" I ask as I walk towards Kiara.

"Could you please take over? I can't deal with these obnoxious five year olds." Kiara rolls her eyes and moves away from the stove and goes back to sit down on the dining table.

After breakfast got over, everyone started leaving for their work. The guys borrowed clothes from Aditya and the girls borrowed clothes from Aliya and me. Even I got dressed and made my way to Jay's studio as I had two sessions there at around three.

I reach the studio and just sit at the reception with Zoya, who is the receptionist. She's around my age and does part time job here and works as in accounting intern at one of the MNC's I often cover for her whenever she is late or is super busy. And when I have time to kill, I simply sit down next to her and bore her to death, literally.

"So, how was the audition, yesterday?" she asks and I start telling her all about it.

An hour later of chit chat, Zoya left for a meeting, leaving me in charge of the reception. I attend some calls, guide the dancers to their respective studios, take payments and arrange the paperwork that has been piling on.

Just then my mobile starts ringing. I take it out of my purse and look at an unknown number flashing on the screen. I slide the green icon.

"Good Afternoon. Am I speaking with Aditi Sharma?" a woman speaks in a very formal tone.

"Yes, this is she. May I know who this is?"

"I am Tia here, Mr. Johar's assistant. He asked me to call you and inform you that you and your team members are to come for a meeting tomorrow at four in the afternoon."

"Oh, thank you." I reply and Tia hangs up the phone.
