"Aditi." Harry mumbles.
"Oh! So you are Aditi! So nice to meet you!" Kendall exclaims as she puts her hand forward to shake. She has a bright smile on her face and I try to fake one. The look on Harry's face shows the guiltiness. He knows he lied. And I feel like a fool for believing in him so easily. My vision shifts back to Kendall and she is still waiting for me to say something, but the lump in my throat doesn't permit me to.
"I-It's nice to meet you too, Kendall." I fake a smile easily.
"Well, I'm sorry but I'm in a rush! Have a plane to catch." She turns around, waves a goodbye to Harry, who simply nods. She walks out and makes her way to the elevator.
You should leave too.
My subconscious advices, but my legs don't seem to move. I'm still looking at Harry, feeling shattered. My heart aches at the site of him. He certainly had a good time with her. What was I even thinking?
"You're too good for him."
"I don't date."
"I'm not very good at relationships."
"I'm a messed up guy."
All the warnings start ringing in my brain. Most of which were Harry's itself.
I'm not even comparable to Kendall. Why would he even like me when he has her? Tears form in my eyes. But I will not cry in front of him.
He walks towards me slowly and stands at the door.
I hear a ping and turn to see that Kendall left.
"Aditi.....I..." His raspy voice laced with concern.
But I cut him off by turning and walking off towards the elevator.
"Wait!" Harry calls out behind me but I don't stop. Suddenly, I feel Harry grab my elbow, yanking me around to face him.
"I want to talk to you." He says.
"Harry let go." I say through gritted teeth.
"Aditi, just come inside."
"Let go of me." I try moving my hand, but it makes no difference.
"Stop fighting me Aditi!" Harry says, raising his voice.
"And you stop lying to me Harry!" I snap back glaring at him trying to hold on to the tears. I look at his beautiful face, his piercing green eyes. But soon get distracted by the lipstick marks around his lips. A tear escapes my eyes and I turn away not wanting to see his face.
Harry let's out a heavy sigh and looks at me with pleading eyes, "Just let me explain. Then you can leave."
I should just walk away....if I go in there with him now, I know I will end up listening and forgiving him.
"Please." He whispers and I give in.
I nod my head. Harry holds my hand and walk me to his room and closes the door behind us. He then takes me to the sofa in the living room and makes me sit down next to him so that we are facing each other, he doesn't let go of my hand. The room is luxurious and even more furnished than mine. Of course he is in a presidential suite. It's bright, the sun light from the window filling up the entire room. I turn to look at his face. his bright green eyes captivating as ever.
Harry's POV
Her eyes look watery and she looks as if she's about to cry. And it's all my fault. She's trying to hold back those tears and is trying to stay strong.
