You both got downstairs and took a tour. It was dinner time when it ended so you went to the cafeteria. "Watch where the fuck you're walking " "It was an accident, calm your small tits!" " excuse me? "  "You're excused you stupid fuck!" Next thing you and preston knew a physical fight broke out. Garnet came through and everything fell silent.

You huddled back into prestons body and he held you close. "He won't touch you." Preston whispers in your ear and you just nod. "Why the hell is there a fight going on in MY cafeteria!?" He booms. " we're sorry sir" the girls say quietly.

"Yeah im sure you are" he says then shoots both girls in the head. Preston pushes you behind him but you stick your head over his shoulder and look. "Zo-" "pres it's nothing none of us haven't seen" you say calmly. " i-i know but i don't want you getting sad or more scared of him" his voice trails off.

Its been a few hours. You and preston just sat on your bed talking. "can i ask you something about your family?" Preston says looking at you. Everytime you look into his eyes your whole world stops and it's just him and you. Everything wrong in the world disappears. And you love it.

"Ask away" you smile slightly. "What... What happened to your dad? You never told me. Emma asked me once but i of course couldn't tell her. She didn't wanna ask you incase it made you sad." " he had Cystic fibrosis and heart failure. He didn't think treatments were helping him so he stopped doing it and didn't tell my mom." You looked back down, playing with Prestos fingers.

" Eventually he developed a hole in his heart and died in seconds because it basically exploded. I was 10 at the time. It was just us home. I was walking downstairs to ask him for help on homework but when i went downstairs he was in the living room dying. By the time i was able to call an ambulance he was dead. "

" im sorry zo. It sucks your family had to go through that but atleast you had each other right? " " yeah. I guess. " you let out a sad laugh. "You said you were doing homework?" " Yeah? " "surprised" " wha- you don't believe that Zoe Grace Damon can actually pass school and do work?!" Preston raised bis eyebrows in surprise.

" Zoe Grace. You never told me your middle name. What else haven't you told me? " preston makes an offended face "hmmm that i love you" you smile and lay on his lap. "Well you don't need to tell me that cus i know. But i love you too" he smiles down at you and pushes hair out of your face.

" you don't need to tell me that, i already know. " you smirk. "Shut up" Preston smashed his lips on yours and you both smile through the kiss. You make a 'hmph' when he pulls away and push your face against his stomach.  "Aww is zoe grace sad i stopped" preston says in a high pitched voice.

"Yes zoe grace is sad asshole" you say into his shirt. He laughs and pushes you off his lap so he can lay next to you. You pull one of the pillows out from under you and create a wall between the two of you and face the other way. "Are you that mad at me for pulling away?" Preston says in a sad joking tone.

" yep" you close your eyes smiling. "Well too bad this pillow is in the way." You can just hear his smirk. You turn your head and push the pillow slightly out of the way then raise your eyebrow. "Get over here" preston says and you instantly throw the pillow and roll into his arms. He plants his lips on yours, and you stay laying there that way til you both fall asleep.
