chapter 21

You wake up to an alarm going off. "Pres" you shake his shoulder but he doesn't wake up. "Preston!" You yell and smack him upside the head. " ow wha- what's that? " " i don't know. " "let's go find out i guess." You both get up and you peek through the window. It's hard to see cus the Windows so high.

"Shorty" preston snorts behind you and looks out the window perfectly. You stomp on his foot.  "I'm like 5'7 or 5'8" you huff. " I'm 5'10" he laughs at you. "Eat my dick" you turn around and walk out the door.

"Tell me when and where" he winks at you. "In your wildest dreams" you turn around and continue walking down the hallway. "Gladly" he calls behind you and runs to catch up. You just roll your eyes and smile.

You get downstairs to the main room everyones just sitting there. "What's going on?" You ask some man standing there staring into space. " there's been a breach in our walls. Everyone must stay here til we solve the problem. " he goes back to his trance like state.

"Guess dick eating will have to wait huh?" Preston whispers in your ear. You smack him hard and go sit down. "You told me to do it!" Preston says rubbing his head. " i was kidding dumbass." "i know you are. But i wasn't."  he smacks your arm and you kick him.

"Girlfriend abuse much" you raise an eyebrow and look away. " you hit me first asshole. " he rolls his eyes, obviously joking. "Knock it off. You've been acting like children since you got here" elaine calls from the other side of the room.  "If you don't like it then you can FUCK right off and go get your ass killed out there" you snarl.

"Or let us leave. Nobody said we needed to stay. Nor do you." You spit at her. She walks over to you and bends down. She smells like crack and death had a baby. "Look sweetie, don't give me attitude. Don't fuck with me." " nobody wants to fuck with you anyways you dumb bitch" you spit back.

"Stand up" "make me" "fine" as she grabs you, you bite her and refuse to let go. You rip skin off her arm and she screams. She swings at you but you grab her fist and turn it 360°.

Snap. 'May her wrist rest in pieces.' You think, spitting out the flesh you ripped off.  "Zoe!" Preston stands up and drags you backwards. "You're fucking psycho zoe!" Elaine yells and runs off. " i know i am! You should of known better than to fuck with an insane person! " you yell down the hallway as Preston drags you farther away.

"Why did you do that?!" Preston says angrily. " she wanted to fuck with the wrong person. She got what was coming. " you say calmly. Too calmly. "You just ripped half the skin on her arm off and broke her wrist! How are you so calm?" " because she deserves it. Excuse me for being so heartless towards terrible people." you can feel tears stinging but you don't let them fall.

"Zo that's-" he stops talking and looks behind you but you didn't notice. " that's what? Messed up? Wrong?  Because I'm quite aware that-" Preston stops you. "Zo that's not what i was gonna say. But garnet is coming this way. Get behind me." "why? Worried I'll rip his fucking face off? Cus you'd be right."

when you finish your sentence preston looks confused. You turn around and walk towards Garnet and swing at him. He stumbles backwards as you lunge at him and start mauling his face. "ZOE GRACE!" Preston yells. Time stopped. Hearing that name it just... It's like something clicked in you.

You stood up and started walking backwards looking at the bloody scene. You look at your hands, covered in blood and flesh. You look at garnet he's bleeding out of his eyes missing half his face. What's left bruising from the punch. You look at preston who's just as surprised as you.

He definitely isn't as scared of you as you are of yourself. You look back to garnet who is being brought to the medical wing. Something inside you shuts down and you just run out the door never looking back.
