‘Maryann,’ Gwen said

‘Yes, Gwen?’ Maryann asked, walking out of her apartment

‘Are you doing anything tonight?’ Gwen asked her brown eyes look into the green of Maryann’s.

‘No I’m not, why?’

‘Can you watch Susan,’ Gwen asked

‘When?’

‘Tomorrow,’ Gwen said

‘I can watch Susan tomorrow night,’ Maryann said ‘but why did you ask if I was free tonight.’

‘You’ll see,’ Gwen said as she went in the opposite direction to where Maryann was standing.

‘I wonder what she was going on about,’ Maryann whispered to herself as she walked out of the apartment complex to go to the shop.
