‘Big sister,’ Susan yelled as John and Mary walked through the door.

‘Yes Susan,’ Maryann said

‘Play?’

‘I promise to play with you,’ Maryann said ‘little sister.’

‘Maryann, John.’ Gwen yelled

‘Bu first we have to talk to your mum,’ Maryann said ‘Why don’t you go into your room.’

‘Yes Big sissy,’ Susan giggled and skipped to her room

‘Yes Gwen,’ John said

‘So how was the interview?’ Gwen asked leaning against the door.

‘It was good,’ Maryann said

‘Why was it good?’ John asked

‘Because I’m free,’ Maryann told him

‘I can tell,’ Gwen said

‘How?’ Maryann and John asked together

‘You look like the weight was pushed off your shoulders,’

‘Thanks Gwen,’ Maryann said ‘Now I have a little girl to play with.
