I watched as Sam's car pulled out of the driveway and off into the distance. A part of me was actually going to miss his company. After all I do love the guy & I'm engaged to him.

I grab a bath bomb and bubble bar from under my skin and begin to set up my bath. I set up some candles around the tub to set the mood. I was already in the Christmas mood even though it was thanksgiving next week. I truly wanted to spend thanksgiving with my family but unfortunately I would be spending it all by myself in California. Sam said he was going to go on a business trip & invited me. I turned down the offer sadly but he needs to focus on his job.

As I'm about to strip from my clothes I hear the door bell ring. "Ughhh" I groan as I make my way to the front door. I open the door and standing in front of the door frame was Grayson himself.
"Hi beautiful" he smiles as he looks at me up and down.
"Hey" I smile as I let him in the house. "I brought you something" he smiles as he pulled out a bouquet of daisies from behind his back. "Aww you shouldn't have" I squeal as I pull him in for a hug.

"I was about to take a bubble bath and relax , do you want to join?" I ask causing a smirk to rise upon his face. "Oh I'd love to"
We walk into my bathroom and he sees everything set up neatly. "Damn you really went all out babe" he gawks causing me to giggle. I strip from my clothes and toss them onto the counter. I spot Grayson staring at me in the corner of my eye and I snicker "are you just gonna watch or are you gonna join?" He shakes himself out of his own trance and starts undressing.

I quickly rush to the kitchen and grab a bottle of red wine . Along the way I grab two wine glasses and head back to the bathroom. I walk in and see Grayson already in the tub sitting back and relaxing. "Damn babe you look hot" I say while subconsciously bitting my lip. "I'd like to bite that lip" he smirks causing me to snicker. I pour us both some wine into the two separate glasses. Grayson uses his pointer finger to call me over and I follow as demanded. I step into the tub and lean my back so I was laying on Grayson. He kisses my forehead causing me to smile like a child.

"Can we talk?" I ask as he rubs his hands up and down my thigh. "Of course baby, what's on your mind?" He ask and I let out a sigh. "Well Ethan told me about you and Caroline hooking up and I just wanted to ask you about it" I say shyly as I intertwine our fingers. "That's actually what I came to talk to you about as well" he admits causing a small smile to form. He came to tell me the truth, maybe not everything but it's a start.

"It happened six months after we broke up..."

I sat back in the couch as I watched many thirsty girls roam the room. "Are they really that desperate?" I ask myself to which I hear a response "yeah they really are." I turn to the voice and see Caroline "shit did I actually say that out loud?" I ask face paling myself and she chuckles. "Oh don't feel bad about it , these girls body's counts are out of the roof. I'm not surprised any of them had an std's yet." I laugh slightly at her comment which causes her to smile. " it was nice talking to you dolan" she smiles as she stands up and leaves with a random man. I guess maybe she was just like the other girls.

Thirty minutes later

As I guide one of the random girls I was trying to fuck into the room I had heard crying on the other side. I open the door to reveal Caroline on the bed... getting raped. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THNK YOURE DOING?!" I yell as I throw the man off of Caroline. Next thing I knew my fist were meeting his face. I couldn't stop myself , I wouldn't. He had to pay for what he was doing to Caroline. "DONT YOU EVER FUCKING TOUCH ANYONE LIKE THAT" I yell as I begin to choke him.
"GRAYSON THATS ENOUGH" Caroline cries out to which I look at her. God she looked broken.

I didn't want to put her through more pain so I took my phone out and took a picture of the guys drivers license. "Thanks douche" I say as I get off of him. I go over to the bed and pick Caroline up slowly and gently. We rush out of the party gaining stares from strangers but shit I didn't care , she needed to go see a doctor asap.

We arrive at a twenty four hour emergency room and wait patiently for a doctor to get to us. Finally they call Caroline's name and we walk into the back together. She wraps her arm around me as I help her keep balance. She was rough.
After the doctor went over just normal check up procedures they asked me kindly to step out of the room so they could preform the rape kit. I could hear her small whimpers as they did lord knows what. I hated that she was in this position, I wish I could've been there sooner to stop it.

After about five minuets pass Caroline walks out and gives me a small grin. "Thank you for bringing her in mr dolan , I'm sorry your girlfriend had to go through this" before I could respond the nurse walks off leaving me and Caroline alone in the abandon hallway. "Hey stay at my place tonight, I don't want your roommate getting worried and questionable" I suggest to which she just nods her head yes.

I give her a fresh pair of clothes to change into and she walks into the bathroom to change. God I felt beyond bad. I was livid , I would've killed that guy if she didn't tell me to stop. I'm glad she did tell me to stop. I couldn't put her through anymore pain she was going through. She walks out the bathroom with a slight smile on her face. "They look good on you, keep em" I smile which causes her to giggle "thanks." She limps to bed and before she could reach the bed I go over to her side and carry her bridal style. I lay her underneath the covers and tuck her in.

I go back around to my side and lay right beside her. "Thank you Grayson, if you weren't there to save me I don't know what would've happened" she speaks as she turns to face me. I reply with "I wish I was with you the whole night , none of that would've happened. If you were mine I would never hurt you , I'm sorry you had to go through that."
Unexpectedly she plants a light kiss on my lips then says "goodnight Grayson." Before she could fully turn around I pull her in for one last kiss before saying "goodnight Caroline."

"That's how it all led to us being friends with benefits. It's because I was the only person she could trust with her body after that night. Now she's learned to let other people in." Grayson finishes explaining which causes me to smile widely. "Thank you for telling me Grayson" I say which Grayson then says "of course, I'm done keeping secrets. I'm going to be open and honestly with you about everything from now on. We just have to take baby steps." I turn to face him a bit then kiss him lightly.
