"tati come downstairs to eat" i yell out from the kitchen trying to grab the preteens attention. gosh teens these days and there technology. on cue she comes skipping down the stairs asking "where's daddy?" before i could respond the front door opens wide revealing grayson back from ethan's. "daddy!" tati squeals as she runs over to her father and into his arms she went. i smile widely at the pair and giggle. "did you miss me?" grayson ask in a kid like tone to which tati smiles. "i always miss you daddy!"

grayson places tati onto the ground and she skips over to the kitchen table. "babe do you mind waking luke up from his nap?" i ask with a pout and grayson just flashes me a smile. i set the table and begin to serve tati. i then serve everyone else as we all sat down at the table. "how was uncle ethan?!" luke ask enthusiastically. "he was great, he said he wants to see y'all again soon" grayson smiles taking a bite from his kale salad. "will carson come over?!" luke ask as his eyes grow. me and grayson look at each other and just laugh at our sons cuteness. the bond the cousins had was amazing. "yes luke carson can come over as well" i state which luke does a victory "yes" causing me , grayson and tati to giggle.

as our dinner came to an end tati's phone began to ring on the opposite side of the room. without excusing herself she ran across the room to answer it. "miss tatiana rosemary dolan, did you ask for permission to be excused?" i ask bamboozled at her actions. "no momma i didn't, may i be excused?" she ask innocently bagging her eyes. i just simply nod my head and turn to grayson. "kids and there technology now days" i speak to which tati turns around "hey i wouldn't be talking, that is how you and dad met after all"
i let her statement sink in which causes a flashback of memories.

"you're right tatiana , me and your mother did met through the phone but we were adults so we didn't have to-"
"it's fine grayson, let it be." i speak watching my daughter talk on the phone intently. "if it weren't for you getting the wrong number we wouldn't be here in the first place. i'm blessed and happy we are" i smile while cupping grayson's cheek. "i love you" he speaks placing a kiss onto my lips. "i love you more."

"hey mom can i charge my phone?" tati ask looking back at me and grayson. "yeah sure what percentage is it at?" i ask combing a piece of hair behind my ear. "5 %" she announces while rushing over to the charging station. i tell her "recharge to 100%"
