"Were they peaking?" September said, carrying her tray with her to a table. She put it on the empty table the popular people sit on. (Aka meat heads, bimbos, and Ian.) I sat down. It's my birthday. They can suck it if they don't want me here.

I felt something hit my back and I looked up at Ian. "This isn't your table." He said, staring at me with his huge chocolate eyes.

"Yes. But I'm not moving." I said, biting my sandwich.

"Come on.  It's my day, don't fight with me." He said. I stood up, squeezing my sandwich in my fist. ,

"Hey asshole! It's my day too! Sorry I'm not part of what matters to you. Have a happy fucking party." I shoved the sandwich into his chest and grabbed my bag, walking away. I heard a whistle.

"Nice ass, Reid!" One of my his meat head called. I spun around and gave his whole table the middle finger. I slammed my hand against the door and pushed it open. I walked towards the front door and left, walking towards the motorcycle. I put my legs around it and kicked it to start. I drove out of the parking lot, hearing screams behind me.

I pulled into my driveway and put the bike away. I had driven around town so I came home at the right time. I opened the door and was greeted with a "Happ..." and then silence. I looked up, tears in my eyes.

"Sorry I'm not Ian." I threw my bag and walked into my room. I slammed the door, locking it. I pulled my dress off and threw it into my closet. I kicked my shoes off and grabbed sweats and a tank top. Nobody came upstairs. I have do this. I threw the door open. "SORRY I'M TOO FUCKING ANNOYING TO BE YOUR DAUGHTER. WHY DON'T YOU FUCKING ADOPT IAN HUH? YOU'D BE SO MUCH HAPPIER!" I swung the door shut and sat on my floor. Staring at nothing. I know the words hurt, but I don't care. They only do all of this because they feel sorry. He only puts up with me. I'm just the last choice. Someone knocked on my door. "Go away!" They kept knocking. I growled and walked over to the door, wiping my eyes. "WHAT PART OF GO AWAY DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!" September was standing at my door. I dropped my head. She pushed me in and wrapped her small arms around me. I cried into

her shoulder.

"Hey, it's okay. Come on, put your dress back on, fix your makeup, I'll redo your hair, and go enjoy your party. Have some beer." She said. I nodded, standing up. I walked over to my closet, pulling my clothes off quickly. I pulled my dress back on and September zipped it. She helped me put on my makeup and fix my hair. "Beautiful." She said as she smiled from behind me at the mirror.

"I wouldn't say beautiful..." I countered.

"Yeah you're right." HEY! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO AGREE! "You're super sexy."She laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Weirdo." I walked past here, slipping on flats. I opened my door and quickly ran downstairs. Ian was greeting guest. "He's such a dick." I mumble. An attractive one. That sounds gross. Yup. I sighed and walked over to him.

"Hey!" He said.

"Hi." I mumbled.

"Listen," he handed me the can in his hand, "I'm sorry. I was a jerk. It's OUR birthday. Live a little." I roll my eyes and finish the can and hand it back to him.

"Fine. I will."
