I put my tray down and crossed my legs. I could feel eyes on me and whispers on me. I tried to ignore them but couldn't and turned around. "Is there something you need, assholes?" I asked the group behind me. One boy smirked. He looked like an elf.
"Yeah."
"What?" I snapped back.
"Do you two use protection?" I glared and whipped my head back around. "I'll take it as a no."
"I'll take that as a you get no action, and worry about other people's love life, to tell other people about." I say back, not turning around. Ian slides in next to me and September and Scott sit across from us. Olivia, William, and Robin join, sitting on the other end.
"We aren't gonna bite you know." Ian says, his arm on my shoulder. Scott and September stare at us and I wave them away.
"Robin, are you going to the formal with somebody?" Robin nodded.
"A senior. James Earl."
"Ohh... be careful... I hear he's like the almighty player." I warn.
"I know, Dove. Not anymore, though. We've been dating for like three months. He's in the other senior lunch though." We all nod and bite into our lunches. I heard loud clicks on the floor, then our table went lower, and I was it by a wave of rose perfume. I gag.
"Hey, babe." Teresa traced her finger on Ian's arm.
"Hey whore." He said back.
"So, you want to go to the formal with me?" She kept swirling her finger and I saw her push her arms together, giving him a clear view of her breasts.
"No. I have a date."
"But I'm your girlfriend..."
"HA!" He screams in her face. "Ask someone else." She glares and turns to Scott. He grabs September's hand and puts them in the air. Teresa scuffs and leans into my face.
"Little slut, I'll get you."
"You should get a breath mint first because your breath STANK!" I pinch my nose. She walks away. Ian holds up his hand and I connect it.
"Nice."
"Why thank you." I finish my food and get up, ready to throw it out. I toss it into the trash and turn around. I see a foot go out in front of me and I fall, my face slapping the ground. I wince and sit up. I open my eyes and see Ian holding the idiot from earlier off the ground. I stand up.
"Put him down." I instruct. Ian drops the kid who stays on the ground, shaking. I smile and grab Ian's hand pulling him out of the cafeteria. I stay next to me as we lean against a locker. "Thanks."
"No problem, beautiful."
"Can our colors be blue? Like you can have a button up shirt that's blue and I can have a dress... that's blue."
"Sure. You and September going together?" I shook my head.
"We both have dresses."
"Wonderful." The bell rings. "Well, gotta go. See you soon."
"Bye." Why was I sad he was gone? Like I'd never see him again. Dumb ass, you live in the same house. LET ME BE SAD! I pushed off the locker and walked into my last period.
