Ian Reagan

Not past tense. Not past tense. Not past tense. Naveah walked into the kitchen. "The parents want all of us. Apparently someone's staying for a couple days and we'll have to share rooms." I nodded.

"Can you get Dove please?" Naveah nodded and ran up the stairs. I walked into the living room and sat on the couch. I put my head in my hands and rubbed my eyes. The couch next to me sunk and I a hand touched my thigh. I looked. Dove's sparkling black nails stared back at me. I put my head up and the hand retreated. I stared at the adults.

"So, you guys heard, some family will be staying till after New Year's Day. So you'll share rooms. Ian and Dove, you can share with each other... or a baby." We nodded.

"I'll just... he can stay in my room. It's bigger." Dove said. I looked at her. She shrugged.

"Good. I'm glad, the baby girls can share a room, Anthony, Naveah, and Lilly can share, and so can you guys." Everyone nodded. "Go up and start and clean your rooms. Dove, please help Ian, because his room is nas, to the t!" We laughed and I rolled my eyes. Everyone went upstairs, Dove and I last. I walked up silently. Better sleep with my arms in my blankets. I don't need to wake up with "peed" pants. She pushed my door open and switched on the light. She started to pick up the various clothes on the ground.

"Dove. Can we talk? Please." I grabbed hand. She pulled her hand free and tossed the clothes into a hamper.

"We can talk later. Now, we clean." She kept bending over and standing up. I stood there. "Finish this. I'll make your bed." I nodded and finished the clothes. She was straightening my comforter and she lay down on it, spread out. I sat next to her.

"Talk now?" She nodded. "Please let me try again. Please. I really like you too." She sat up.

"If you like me so much, why'd you kiss her?" I sighed.

"I... it... because I thought if I made you jealous... you'd like me more." I whispered.

"Aww," she touched my arm, "you're a complete and

utter idiot." She said, sweetly.

"I know. And I kept acting that way... and I knew it wouldn't work, but that's the only plan I had. I'm so sorry. Please. Please. Please. PLEASE believe me." I asked.

Why am I gonna forgive him? "Fine."

"Really?" He asked, his eyes brightening.

"Yeah. Doesn't mean I'll date you." Better.

"Why?" His eyes became dark again, full of sadness.

"Because. You have a week. One. Week, when we get our rooms back, to prove that I should give you another chance. Just one." I said. I crossed my arms. Ian nodded eagerly.

"Okay." He opened his arms and I sighed and hugged him.  You shouldn't be giving him another try. Shut up negativity. WELL!

I got off of his bed at the ring of a bell. "Oh and... you do all my work today. I got no presents, that's the least you can do." He nodded.

"The camera's yours now. And I know you didn't drop it." He said, shutting the door. I leaned against the railing of the stairs. He stood behind me.

"Oh yeah?" He put my arms around my waist.

"Yup." He put his chin on my shoulder, so he could see me. I was blushing. "Is this making you uncomfortable?" I nodded. "Then I'm doing my job." Bette watch it, pretty boy.

"Okay. Family time. Let's go." I pushed back, but he wouldn't move. His head was buried in my neck and he wasn't moving. My breathe quickened. He laughed and let me go. "Jerk."

"Sexy Jerk." Well he's not wrong. HEY! DAMN YOU BRAIN! Well... it's true. Yeah... wait no! No. No. No.

"Whatever." I covered my blush with my hair. He followed behind me. Family was entering the house, talking loudly. I gulped. Family makes me nervous, because they can judge you an nobody questions it.

"Let's go, beautiful."
