I took a long drag of my stick,I slightly shivered since it was a cold fall night.I exhaled the smoke and then threw the cigarette on the floor and stomped on it.I sat on the steps of the stairs of the porch,then I heard the door open.I looked up and saw Dallas looking back at me.
"Whatcha Doin Out here?"He asked me,he sat down next to me.
"Just needed to get away from the party for a bit"I said quietly.
"Oh,is everything okay?"He asked me putting his hand on my thigh.
I found it kind of strange that Dallas was being nice to me,He's the toughest greaser yet he was acting so kind towards me.
I sighed and shook my head
"No..my boyfriend cheated on me with some soc"I said
"Want me to kick his ass for ya?"He said slightly laughing.
"Sure that would be great"I spoke while laughing
"I'm sorry doll but guessing he just wasn't meant for you..but I know someone who is"He smirked
"Who?" I questioned,I was curious
"Me"He stated
I looked at him and smiled,Dallas always tried getting at me but more as in a sexual way.This time he was sweet and honest,which was unusual but I enjoyed it.
"Smooth Dal smooth"I said while laughing
"Well it's true doll,I know what I've been doing wrong and that's coming onto you in a wrong way that you didn't like and well doll I like you"He spoke sweetly
I could tell he mean it,Dallas was soft for me and honestly that melted my heart.
"Alright Dally, I'll give you a chance..but if it's gonna be you messin around with my heart then I won't tolerate it"I said looking at him
"I know I know doll,I won't mess with your heart so ya will be willing to give me a chance?"He Smiled
"Yeah"I spoke softly
"Alright wanna go see a movie tomorrow? At the the Nightly Double?"He asked me
"I'd love that,what time?"I questioned
"Around 7ish"He spoke
I nodded my head and smiled,he smiled back and he slightly blushed.My heart melted he was too cute.
"Aww you look so cute"I said while giggling
He shook his head while smiling
"No,you're cuter"He told me while scrunching his nose
I smiled and laughed
"Alright Dal,you're killin' me..Can I plant one on ya?"I asked him
He smirked and then smiled,he nodded and I leaned in.We both leaned in and our lips were a few inches apart,I smiled and I leaned in and our lips moved in sync.
His lips were soft and gentle.I ran my hand threw his hair and he pulled me closer by putting his hands in my waist.I felt butterflies in my stomach and I have forgotten about everything in that moment.
After a while we both pulled away with huge smiles.
"Wanna go to the Dingo? Kinda want a shake"He spoke
I laughed and nodded my head
"Sure"I responded sweetly
We got up and he grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers.We walked to the Dingo in the cold,dark,but somehow beautiful night sky.We both had huge smiles on our faces,and they were real too.
Everything felt perfect;The moment did and I was glad I gave him a chance.Ive would've missed out.
