Welcome back!!!

"Well. The water was a little colder than expected..."
I turned my head to Theo with an amused expression on my face.
"How would you know? You were too scared of the damn dolphins to get in. The dolphins Theo."
I couldn't stop laughing.
"Hey!" He said, pointing a finger
"You never know when one of those things can turn on you."
I didn't even bother looking at him, it would have made me laugh even harder.
Theo. Scared of dolphins. I was dead.
CAUSE OF DEATH: laughter.
That will be me one day.
"Oh whatever. Let's go." He picked me up unexpectedly and started walking towards the bungalow.
Theo and I have been traveling since we left the last day of school. We haven't stopped.
We have been too Italy, Philippines, Thailand, Iceland, Tahiti, London, Scotland, Greece, Spain, and so many beautiful places. Gosh it was gorgeous.
We have spent a tiny bit less than a week in each, and right now we are in Croatia. So many beautiful and fantastic people.
And this trip, spending time with Theo. Has been magical. It truly has. We are in our own world when we're together. He's so sweet, and happy. I don't think I've ever seen him this happy.
This has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.
"So. Have you been thinking about it?" He asked me.
My body shifts in a wrong way. I don't like the feeling of having to think about anything.
"Yes. I have..."I said, trying my hardest not to get upset with anything.
"Babe." He said once in a stern voice. I didn't want to look at him. Deep down I've already made my answer. I just don't want to look at him and say my decision.
Instead of letting it go of course, Theo walks around me and picks me up. Resting my legs on both sides of him and sitting on his lap as he sets us both down on the bed. His hands are just a little above my ass. I wrap my arms around his neck as his move up to my hips.
"I already know the answer Lace. We're connected. Remember?"
He didn't sound disappointed. He sounded... okay
"You aren't upset?" I asked, pulling myself a little bit closer to him as he looked me in the eyes. Pulling me closer to him as well and holding on so much tighter
"I couldn't be mad at you. And no, I'm not. Because I understand. So... how about instead of you leaving and staying with me. I go with you."
I got caught of guard by his words. Theo had wanted me to be with him. Leave and never go back. Practically to runaway with each other.
He knew what my answer would be before even asking me.
There's too much to risk. Too much bad in the world that needs fixing. To many people who need help. And I can help them. He also knew that I could never leave my family. But what I don't understand, is why he is saying that he'll go back with me and actually stay.
"You hate it there. You always have." I said.
That's pretty much where he lost everything. Granted, it was kinda his fault. But still. He had no more family there, or anywhere's.
"I do. And yes my biological family is gone." He said with a smirk.
He's been reading my thoughts for as long as he's been able too.
"Yes I have. But it's not true that I don't have any family there. I have you. You are my family. Wherever you go... I go."
I was smiling as wide as I possibly could.
"Theo.." I whispered, looking into his eyes. Holding him so tight from the fear that he might let go.
He tilted his head at me gesturing to me that he's listening.
"I-... I love you.." I whispered out again. I wasn't smiling. Mainly because even though he's my soulmate (well, one of them), what if he didn't say it back?
His body went tense. His face went serious. He sat up straighter as I shifted on his lap, straitening my posture
