LIAMS POV:
"She left me. And she went with him.."
What was I supposed to do now? Without my soulmate. How the hell Can she have two soulmates. It doesn't make any fucking sense. There is only supposed to be one. Me.
Not Theo.
Me.
.
"How is your arm so heavy?" Corey wined as he tried to get my lacrosse gear on my body.
"I know, it sucks. But Liam, this is senior year. She might come back, and she might not. But you can't focus on that right now. Please focus on yourself. And TRYOUTS!" Mason shouted.
They both tried to lift me up and drag me out of the lockers, but we all ended up falling.
I didn't want to get up.
I have given up on life. No matter what. What is life if she isn't apart of it?
Pointless. That's what it is.
You know, I always used to hate Romeo and Juliet. It was always so dumb. So pointless. Why would you ever end your life for over someone like that. I never understood. Especially since they were both young, and only knew each other for like, a day or two.
But then I laid my eyes on her. She was beautiful, and I instantly knew that I would do anything for her. No matter what.
And I can't believe I ever lost track of that feeling. Everything made sense when she came into my life. Like she was my light on a dark night. I was lost until I found her.
But then I fucked up. I slept with Hayden. I cheated.
How could I ever do that to her. She didn't cheat. Yes Theo kissed her, but she stopped it. She was always so loyal.
And of course, me being me, I fucked it up. What the hell is the matter with me. Who the hell does that.
A shitty soulmate. That's who.
I have to win her back somehow. And that's exactly what I'm going to do.
"Coach is going to make Diaz captain." Mason said, sitting up from the floor as he was reading a text message from Scott.
My body immediately shot up.
And ran.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Now that's how you play lacrosse! McCall, who the hell is that? He's incredible!"
I heard coach finstock blabber about me as I had just flipped into the game and stopped a ball from going into the goal.
I started running as fast as I could, spinning around people and blocking them and their sticks.
The energy was pumping through me faster than anything else. I needed this. Just one win. Maybe then everyone would be alright.
" "NO!!!!" I screamed. Running in front of them all. Facing the crowd. They were the towns people of beacon hills. Our neighbors. Our friends.
Each of them lifted their gun straight at me...
"AAGGHHHHH!!!!"
I've never screamed louder. The fire surrounded me and spread out to the crowd. Disintegrating everyone standing. Everyone near. Everyone in the damn town. "
A vision was flashing before my eyes before I could even process anything.
What the hell is happening.
All I saw was Lacey. I instantly knew something was wrong. I knew this was a dream. But I also knew that this meant more than just a Dream, it was a message.
I could see her walking in this dream, but she couldn't see me.
Then she lit up in flame, disintegrating every person in her path. She was such a beautiful being. No matter what she did. It was always crazy, the way she could lose control.
Before I could wake myself up, a body clashed into mine and lifted my body in the air, flipping me over their shoulder and onto the floor.
My anger levels immediately rose. But I was also scared.
What the hell did that dream mean? All of us were dead, except for Lacey. People had their guns. What could that mean?
I could feel my eyes changing, I was able to move, but I couldn't.
I heard a whistle being blown but I still didn't look up. It was Scott, I knew it was. And within seconds he was kneeling down right in front of me.
I looked up at him, but I didn't lift me head enough to let people see my eyes.
"Liam. Your eyes." Scott said.
I knew what was happening. Buy I couldn't control it. And I wasn't sure why.
I shut my eyes tightly, waiting for the fear to die down.
Then it finally did. But when I opened them, everyone was looking past me. Strange.
I slowly turned my body towards the direction everyone was looking. And standing just a few feat away from everyone was a wolf. And real wolf. He wasn't part human. I could smell it. But I could also smell all of the blood.
His side was drenched in it, and his teeth were showing as he snarled at the team.
"Everyone move back." Scott said in a low and calming voice.
Everyone did as he said, we all stepped back a few feat, calmly. Scott and I knew that we'd normally be able to handle this situation easily. But not while there were people out here.
"Nolan. Move back." Scott said, he wasn't mad, but I was. Nolan was a kid on the lacrosse team. Taller than me, but pale, skinny. Couldn't play for shit. And was always scared. I could always smell fear. It practically radiated off of him.
And here he was, being scared again. But he also seemed interested. As if he was trying to communicate with the wolf.
Could he?...
no.
Nolan slowly moved back behind Scott and I as we both were staring down the wolf. He looked at the both of us, then left.
He turned around and started walking away.
"Alright uhh, tryouts are done for today." Scott announced. Blowing his whistle while everyone headed back to the locker room.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Scott was waiting for me outside of the locker room. At first I thought that he was going to try and get into my head about what went down on the field. But he didn't.
Instead, he was just talking to me, and asking me questions about the wolf.
Things that I noticed. What I sensed.
After we made sure everyone had left the school, Scott and I made our way into the woods, following the wolf's scent. It was strong. I fully believe that enough a normal person would be able to smell the fear off of this thing.
We finally traced it back to a little ditch in the woods. The wolf was laying down. It was dead.
"All I can smell is fear." I told Scott, he nodded his head in agreement and was about to start observing the animal, until thousands of tiny black spiders moved their way out of the wolf's dead body.
All of them were tiny, but fast. Leaving from the opening of his mouth and his eye sockets. I couldn't watch, but I couldn't seem to look away either. It was disgusting. And nasty.
"What the hell..." I muttered. There was no way that the wolf was dead long enough for all those spiders to find their way into him.
He just died. Probably a few minutes before we found him.
Scott didn't have to say anything for me to know what he was thinking. He was supposed to be leaving today. Him, Malia, and Lydia. Stiles had already left to go to The FBI training thing. And they were all supposed to leave, and live their lives.
But I could see it in his eyes. He wasn't going to leave.
This was a problem. We knew it didn't seem like much. But it never does, until it turns out that way.
He was going to be staying. And I couldn't be happier. Because I honestly was not ready to face anything without either one of my alphas.
