Electrified lust

"No! Oh no.. g-guys I'm so sorry.. I swear, I don't mean too!" I shouted as I stepped back. Looking down at my own body I could already see more lightning bolts starting to form.

My head looked over to Scott who was holding his torso from being struck, and trying to get to his feet.
"Lacey, you need to focus."
I looked over at Liam to find him still on the floor, clutching his stomach which was in obvious pain.
"Hey! Hey. Don't look at him Lacey. Look at me." Scott demanded

I stole my stare away and gave it to Scott, his hands were reached out like I had a gun pointed at him.
"Lacey, what's happening? I know you can understand what's triggering it.." he said, walking closer which made me twitch.

"Don't!" I shouted, making Scott jolt back.
"Don't come close, I don't know what other powers I might bring up." I said, looking down at my body that was being taken over by lightning bolts.

"Lacey. Think! What's causing this!"

"It's the anuk-ite! Someone is hurting it! And I don't know why, but I can feel it." I said

"Okay. You said both halves are here right? Which one is getting hurt?"

Which one? It can't be Gwen, she's with her "mom" and is probably kicking her moms ass. Yet Gwen was the one screaming, meaning that Aaron was probably the source of the pain. And whom mason and Theo were supposed to be on the look out for...
oh no.

"Scott! Theo and mason found Aaron! If they continue to hurt him, he'll track down Gwen!" I shout.

He stares off into the distance as it all clicks into his head.
"Lacey! You need to find Theo right now!"
I gave him a worried look then switched my gaze back to Liam.
He had now gotten over to the lockers to lean up against. But he was still in pain.
"Lacey! I've got him, now go!" Scott screamed.

And within seconds, Liam and Scott disappeared from my view.
I popped up in the tunnels just in time to see Theo kicking Aaron's ass. Aaron wasn't even fighting back, only to provoke Theo.
No Theo! Don't be this dumb!

"Theo stop!" I screamed, arching my bad out towards him but accidentally letting all of my bolts out and shooting them straight at Theo.
For once I wasn't feeling his pain. Which worried be because he was currently unconscious.
I could hear the screams of Gwen coming on the main floors. Aaron heard them too, and immediately took off.

"Dammit!" I shouted, punching the concrete walls as it crumbled underneath my hit.

"Uhh Lace? A little help please?"
I whipped my head around to see mason on the floor, all beat up.

"Oh god mason!"
I hurried to his side and helped him stand.
"What happened?" I asked as I noticed that he was holding his stomach rather tightly.
"Mason, let me see it."

He gave me sorry eyes as he winced in pain, letting his hands over the three gashes on his stomach. Blood was oozing out fast, and there was no one here to do anything.
"Oh god, mason what the hell did you do?" I asked as I pressed my hands against his wounds.

"It was Aaron, but Theo got to him before he could really rough me up."

"Okay, here."
I brought out my fangs and bit into my palm, letting my blood pool down the side of my hand.
"Open up."

"What?!" He shouted.

I rolled my eyes.
"Vampires have healing blood. One drop will heal you from pretty much anything. I can't use my healing abilities or spells at the moment because the anuk-ite has my powers all fucked up right now, if you haven't noticed. Just take it."

He seemed weary, but gave in and opened his mouth. I dropped a single drop of blood into his mouth and his wounds immediately healed.
"Wow, that worked fast." He said, bouncing up and down a few times just to test it out.

"Yeah, I know." I smiled at him.

"Uh, you might wanna help him."

"Oh god Theo!"
I rushed over and kneeled down. He was still unconscious but his heart was beating.
"Oh thank god." I said.

"Uhhh Lacey? You were still all electrified and everything." Mason pointed out.

"Hmmm..."
I stuck my pointer finger right above his chest and pushed down, letting all of the lightning surge through his body and jolt it forward.
He yelled as it the rush woke him and brought his body from the floor.

"Lacey! What the hell!" He shouted

"Hey! You were the one hurting Aaron! Now he's probably found the other half!"

"Okay well you didn't have to electrify me!"

"I didn't mean too!" I shouted back at him.

We both sat there staring at each other as he very quickly wrapped his hand around my waist and brought me into his chest, both of his arms wrapping around me securely.
I felt home. I felt happy with him. Warm. Safe.
The lightning bolts were no longer forming around my body.
I was stable.

*throat clearing*
"Guys, I think we should go." Mason said, not waiting for us until he started walking down the tunnels.

I took myself away from his body and instantly felt cold.
We both sat there as he lifted both of his hands to my cheeks and brought his face close to mine, resting our foreheads together.
A single tear formed and fell from my eye as my hands wrapped around the top of his.

I know I love him.
I need him.
