"Another problem? How could there possibly be another problem?" Stiles said.

"It's called the anuk-ite. It's a shapeshifter and it feeds off of what you fear most."

"And it turns you to stone just by looking at it."

"And Lacey is connected to it." Stiles whipped  his head to Scott.
"It's why we haven't been wanting her to use her powers. It's making her lose control over them."

"Okay. So you guys are telling me that we have this fear eating monster that we have to fight off blind? Who also happens to be messing with my little sister?"

We all nodded our heads.

"What do you fear most stiles?" Derek asked him with a smug look.

"Blindness." He replied

"Becoming blind?" Lydia questioned.

"Yeah, terrified of it. Always have been. This just seems to be a situation of unfortunate overlap."

I held back a little giggle.

"Okay. Well, Lydia, you take stiles to the armory and wait for Gerard to leave."

"I don't think I have to wait for him. I've gotten through that place before I can do it again."
She seems confident

"Can we just hold it for one second and make sure I'm grasping this. So we're actually talking about doing this? We're gonna do exactly what Gerard wants us to? Is that right?"

I looked over at Scott.
"Stiles has a point Scotty."

"If we stop the Anuk-ite, we stop it all."

"Stopping the anuk-ite can stop Gerard and the Hunters." Derek nodded.

"Not all of them are hunters."

"Scott's right." Lydia said.
"Most of them are ordinary people acting out of fear."

"Monroe's not gonna change." Scott sighed.
"But I think that we can reach the others. Most of them actually."

"The anuk-ite is causing them to act from a place of fear."

"And fear is a good motivator, especially if it leads to anger." Derek said

Like Liam. I thought to myself.

"And I think that if we take out the fear, we can take out the fight in them too. They are afraid of us, but they don't have to be. They just have to change their minds."

"We have to change their minds." Malia said.
"We can face the anuk-ite. We can try to fight it blind, we can try to face our fears, but we still need to know how to catch it."

"That's where I come in." I stated, looking up from the metal examination table I was currently leaning on.
"I'm gonna catch it."

"No way."

"Not a chance."

"No."

"Why not?!" I shouted

"Because it can kill you!" Scott, stiles and Derek all shouted together.

"Guys, she might have a point..." Lydia said slowly.
"She's connected to it. And she's apart of it. It might not be able to turn her to stone. She might be the only one who is able to
Fight this."

"Nice to see someone hasn't lost their optimism." Derek replied

"No. There's no guarantee that she won't get turned to stone." Stiles started speaking for me. Which I was not a fan of.
