Mom came home, I had called her and told her everything the other day. She came in the livingroom, kolby came in behind her with a huge ass box. " this is the best I can do on short notice". Mom said as kolby sat down the box. " what is it". ? I ask. " the crib I used for you and kolby". " we'll have to get her her own mattress , that other one was too old, I had to toss it years ago". She says. I nodded.

"So let me see this beauty ". She says. I handed Caitlin off to mom. She held her close. " well aren't you pretty". She says. "So was her mother". I say putting my hand around the buffalo coin, that was still around my neck.

"Well little one lets go get what you need". Mom says to her.

(At the store)

I carried Caitlin , and followed momma . She went to the clothes first. She checked the tag in the back of Caitlin's onesie. She began searching.

We got all that she needed.

Caitlin was asleep, head on my shoulder.

I grinned at her. We bought a crap ton of stuff.

The whole time me and kolby were playing with plastic light sabers .

(Back at home)

Me and kolby set up the baby bed in my room while mom fed Caitlin her bottle .

Mom the brought the baby in and put her in the now put together crib. I cleaned up my room really good.

Later that night I woke to my phone ringing. I answered.

Me: hello?

Girl: B you promised you'd come get me tonight,

Me: darling , I can't I'm occupied at the moment

I had heard Caitlin mumbling .

Girl: Brantley ! Baby you promised! I thought you said you'd bed me!, please

Me: look I gotta be honest , darling I can't keep bedding you when you'll just go to another man whenever I'm busy.

Girl: fine!

She hung up . Oh well stupid whore.

I got up and picked up Caitlin .

She started babbling . " at least you know what your saying". I say.
