"Daddy". Caitlin says. "Hold on darlin I'm on the phone". I say.

I was talking to colt ford, a new acquired friend .

Caitlin could talk perfect, and would never shut up .

"Daddy this is impartent." She says. " you mean important". I correct. " thas what I said daddy". She says back.

"What is it?" I ask.

"Who you talking to?" She asks.

She was 3 now almost 4.

"Colt ford". I say. " that's a silly name". She says laughing.

" his real name is Jason Farris ". I say. " were gonna go visit him ". I say. "He has a girl your age and puppies". I say her eyes lit up . And she smiled.

"I'll be there soon man, gotta get the princess in the truck and we'll be heading that way ". I say. "Alright ". He says.

"Alright then man, see ya in a minute". I say.

We hung out with colt ford and his little girl. I smiled , Caitlin was having the best time playing with colts little one.

But unfortunately it was getting late. "Caitlin , time to go baby". I say. " aw daddy I don't wanna". She whines ; she was holding a puppy from colts pitbull's litter.

"I'm sorry princess but it's late." I say.

"Take a pup with ya". Colt says. I rolled my eyes . "Please, daddy". Caitlin asks giving me puppy dog eyes. "Ugh, fine ". I say.

Caitlin squealed . "Yay!!, thank you daddy". She says kissing my cheek. I smiled.

She went to pick what pup she wanted. " just remember man, the music business , is a cut throat business , stay true to yourself and always protect her, and no matter what make that little girl your first priority." Colt says. I nodded. " I know". I say, I picked up Caitlin .

We were back home and I got into bed with Caitlin . She slept with me now. She snuggled up against my chest. And the little mongrel I had ended up with 20 minutes ago was climbing over my side . The pup snuggled against my back.
