Jana : A Prince's Tale

Story Time

Jana woke up and looked to his right. Magnus was not in the bed. He sat up and rushed out. The man was sitting in the hall. He seemed to have been awake for some time, judging by the teacup on the table.

Clement was asleep next to him, which explained who made it.

"You could have woken me," said Jana.

Magnus turned a bit but shrugged.

"It is okay. Clement does it always," said Magnus.

Jana felt a twinge in his heart at that but did not say anything. He sat down next to Magnus who looked at him.

"Where are your dads?" asked Magnus.

Jana had a small smile on his face as he said "They are on their second honeymoon, no kidding, We asked all the parents to have a few months off and packed them. They must be back in a couple of weeks, don't know if they will extend it. I bet dads are already ready to come back. Jeet would be really sad if they don't get back by then. He had been counting days," said Jana.

"He is much younger than all of you," said Magnus.

"Yeah, well, My Baba says, Dad's too sexy and so he can't be blamed," said Jana looking onto the woods.

Magnus snorted.

"Did you tell them?" asked Magnus.

Jana shook his head.

"No, they will come running. They are already worried about Kanwar and Eka," said Jana.

"I have heard of this, how they were inseparable and then one day, an omega banished the Alpha King from the Myrkovir," said Magnus.

Jana snorted. "Eka is not your average Omega. Though Uncle Atrey did not give birth to him, he is just like him in all things that matter except yeah he is very brave and noble like Uncle Ethan. Evan, my little brother, will not do anything beyond what Eka says. So the Alpha agrees and well, Eka has so much loyalty among the lone wolves. They consider him the moon god's blessing much like how they worship Uncle Atrey. They believe Uncle Atrey and Eka brought all the luck to Myrkovir, which is true actually. They changed Uncle Ethan, they very significant in his decision to turn it into a pack, so there should be no wonder that he was able to banish the King, but yeah Kanwar could break it if he decided to," said Jana.

"So, he doesn't want to, not even to prove himself," asked Magnus.

Jana looked at Magnus at that question. Coming from the Alpha of the strongest pack in Manowar that was an innocent one. He smiled at the man, a sad smile.

"Kanwar would move mountains for Eka. We think they are mates. I think they know that too. Eka was always Kanwar's shadow. He will not move a finger if Kanwar says so. It was like Kannu this, Kannu that, Oh no one calls him Kannu other than Eka. It is sad really, Kanwar is weakening, I just hope Eka lets him back in," said Jana.

Magnus looked surprised and even Clement was awake. Even his mates older brother was awake as the man next asked "And why did they fight?" asked Samuel.

"They did not. They did not fight at all. There was a phase in Kanwar's life where he was the playboy. Then he dated many people. Eka was sad but he stayed. He was too innocent to even realise his feelings for Kanwar.  Then one day, It was Eka's birthday. It was also the festival pack in Vanta pack, where Eka was born. Kanwar was dating a girl at the time. She had a brother and apparently, Kanwar was in a friend with benefits relationship with the guy too. Eka walked in on them and had been silent after that. Then the siblings' pack from the west was also part of the celebrations. And there were some bullies, they hit Eka. Eka was very fragile you know. He used to be that frail little thing, Kanwar always protected. Then, when they teased him, he called them whores and snapped about the relationship in public. Their parents heard. Kanwar was very much infatuated with her. The brother was interested in some other guy so he moved on. Kanwar stopped talking to Eka that day. He did not give Eka his gift or they have this special birthday tradition, which they did not do that year. We all knew what will happen on their next birthday and were worried and then Kanwar's birthday came around. I think Eka wanted to patch up. He never speaks about that day. Kanwar proposed to her. She had lied she was pregnant too and he thought this is it. I think he was even convinced that she was his mate. He spent all the time with her which we thought helped him cope with Eka's absence. And then, Eka was standing at the door. He heard this and he walked out. Kanwar went behind him. However, when he reached the moors that separated the royal woods from Myrkovir, he was thrown back by the Omega magic. He told Kanwar just one sentence 'Never come before me again'. Eka has never stepped out of Myrkovir after that," said Jana.

"That's a bit overdid. Eka seems to be a drama queen. Everything would have settled when the mates were found. What happened after that?" said Clement.

"Kanwar had shut himself up in his room for seven days after that. We thought leaving him alone would be better. We would get him food and water and tried to talk to him, but he had the Alpha King magic and kept us out. On the seventh day, we realised all the food was uneaten when one of the little cousins found this while crawling around. Baba undid the magic and went in to see him as a shell. We did not realise that he had been taking drugs too along with the siblings. They were the worst thing that has ever happened to him. Then Kanwar was in rehab for the next one month. Diane and Duan used to visit him there. She tried to have sex with him, he refused and in the scuffle, she got pushed and she made a hullabaloo about it as she was faking the pregnancy and Kanwar was really apologetic. So he insisted on a doctor checkup and she tried to back out and then it was revealed that she was on a fertility potion and not pregnant. Well, Kanwar had looked at dad and hugged him crying," said Jana and laughed a little.

"You really don't want to know what will happen if you hurt one of Iker De Russe Alwar's kids. What happened to them is something only Baba and dad knows. We never asked. They never said. And Eka is not a drama queen. He is the most humble, down to earth person I have ever known and I know Hale De Russe Alwar, Mind you. I think Uncle Hale explains it well. Omega magic is different. They will accept a lot of things but Kanwar was promising himself to another that day. Having grown up together, their wolves must have known and Eka might have felt betrayed and lost. I dunno what Eka felt but I don't blame him. Because I know how they were when we grew up and how things went bad in the end. I just hope Eka forgives Kanwar some day. He will. I think Eka will not be able to stand Kanwar weakening," said Jana.

"Hmm, Interesting," said Magnus.

"Were you not worried that we will try and overthrow the King?" asked Samuel.

"I will kill you before that," said Jana.

"You won't be able to because this is your home pack now," said Clement teasingly.

Jana looked at Magnus, but the man alone was silent.

"You guys really need to meet my dads and uncles. You don't stand a chance and there is still Anthony, Carles, Jeev, Vir, Pran, Eka -- Eka will kill you, trust me," said Jana.

Magnus looked at Jana and did not say anything.

"You have a big family," said Clement wistfully.

Magnus was still looking at Jana and Jana felt his cheeks heat up and he looked down. Magnus looked away sipping on his tea.

HAHAHAHA, So Now you know what happened with Kanwar and Eka.
