Surprises

Magnus entered the palace entrance and the palace was still far. He still was not sure this was the best decision in his life. However, he did not have any options.

In the palace, Jana was talking to the hunters when he felt his mate getting closer and Jana turned. He could hear the sound of the wheels.
Jana turned to Kanwar.

"Your brother in law is coming," said Jana.

Kanwar nodded.

Sure enough, a car sped into the yard. It was a hummer. Jana watched as his Alpha got out of it. The man walked to them.

"I have come to take you with me," said  Magnus without any introductions.

"I know as much, but we need to talk before that and you need to meet my family," said Jana and led Magnus inside. He introduced Magnus to each and everyone in the family. Then Anthony came down. He looked at Magnus.

"You hurt my brother, I will shred you into pieces and throw you across your own pack land and burn your pack down. Trust me, Uncle Avadh and Uncle Iker will help me with it," said Anthony and then greeted Magnus.

Jana led Magnus upstairs into the drawing room. Magnus looked around as he sat. There were pictures on the wall. Then there was a commotion at the door as Arth toddled in closely followed by Jeet who smiled sheepishly at Jana and then looked at Magnus and smiled.

"I am your youngest brother in law, Jeet," said Jeet and Magnus nodded. But his eyes went back to the kid who was hiding behind Jana. When he next saw the kid, his wolf called pack. The little wolf looked at him and howled too young to shift. Jana had a small smile on his face as he took up the kid.

"Have you grown enough to accept pack and Alpha?" asked Jana holding the kid close.

There was an uncanny resemblance between them.

"My Son, Arth De Russe Alwar, now, " said Jana.

Magnus growled. His mate had a kid. Was he married? Was he dating someone?

"His father was an Alpha who never took no for an answer. I, even though I knew I was a submissive Alpha, I had always topped. You would have heard about my colourful sex life until some three and a half years ago, then this guy who wanted to top me refused to take no for an answer. He drugged me and I was awake the whole time as he went on to fulfil his wish. I killed him before his pack the next week after I was on my feet and a couple of months later, I realised that he left something behind. I couldn't get rid of it. And I am glad I did not," said Jana as he looked at Arth. Arth was very curious and he was looking at Magnus very much taken with his long hair. 

"He means everything to me and if you can't accept him, We are done," said Jana.

"I don't see why he would be an issue," said Magnus.

"Okay, Good, now the next and final thing I want from you, fidelity," said Jana.

Magnus looked at him as he got up. He also looked at the little kid now resting his head on Jana's shoulder.

As if realising the pack leader's demand, Arth got down and sat on the sofa.

Jana sighed.

"I was worried he will never conform to a pack. He doesn't recognise royal pack as his," said Jana, his voice relieved.

"That is because I am his Pack leader Alpha. He was to be my son," said Magnus.

Jana looked at him and looked down.

"I want you to make the same promise," said Magnus

Jana nodded. Magnus then said "I Magnus Sullivan Mantini promises my utmost fidelity to you Jana, my mate," said Magnus.
