Jeev looked at Clement biting his lips worriedly.

"Will you leave me for him ever?" asked Clement.

Jeev rolled his eyes at that.

"You think I will leave you for that prick who tried to kill my parents, cheated me, manipulated me, tried to destroy my kingdom and then went on to try and kill me and lives like a rogue ?" asked Jeev sitting down on the bed.

"But you said you are not sure-"

"I- Loving someone and knowing they are evil is possible. However, I am sure I don't Love- love him. But, it's not easy to wash away a person completely when I have thought him to be my mate for these many years and had pondered many what ifs!" said Jeev.

Clement looked at him.

"Okay," said Clement.

Jeev looked at the man.

"I - Will you give me some time?" asked Jeev.

Clement smiled at him.

"You have all the time in the world honey," said Clement and left.

Jeev was ready to leave. He smiled at his older brothers who were ecstatic. Even he was. He looked at Clement who had Arth in one arm.

Samuel was being overprotective of Carles had him already seated safely in the car.

"I will hold him," said Jeev as he took Arth from Clement so that he could easily load the luggage back in.

Arth smiled.

"Yaya, I wish I could take you all," said Arth to his other uncles and aunts.

"Oh, we will visit," said Ivory.

Kanwar nodded. Jeet leaned on Iker. He was always upset when one of them left.

Jeev bid his farewell and got inside the car. Soon they were leaving.

Jeev was asleep by the time the trip was halfway.

Clement looked at Jeev who fell asleep on him and dropped a kiss on his forehead as he held his mate inside his arms.

Jeev stirred once they reached Hallerbo and realised he had used his Alpha as a cushion and blushed.

Clement rolled his eyes at Samuel who had him protectively in his arms.

"I won't fall off the car, and die you realise?" asked Carles.

Samuel looked at him.

"Don't go for the glaring act, I will kick your ass. You know you are being unreasonable," said Carles.

Samuel growled but did not argue. He let go and sat back. Carles smiled and cuddled himself to the man's side.

"I thought I was doing the same," said Samuel.

"No, there is a difference. This is by choice," said Carles as he revelled in Samuel's warmth.

Samuel rolled his eyes but held his mate closer, fondly.

Jana looked at Magnus.

"We are growing bigger as a family. The Mantini's," said Jana.

Magnus smiled.

"It all began with you, you know," said Magnus.

Jana scoffed.

"No it all began with you coming charging into the woods do Manowar," said Jana.

Magnus looked at him.

"It began when you gave the order to have our pack members to be jailed," said Jana.

"No, It all began with you deciding that it is better to live like a human being than as a machine for a pack," said Ili, his eyes still closed and holding Arth to him.

"I thought you were asleep," said Magnus.

"I am," said Ili.

Both Magnus and Jana rolled their eyes.

As they stepped out at the house, Jana took one moment to grip Magnus' hand as the Alpha was about to get their child.

"I am sorry, Alpha Magnus. I know I have been a mean person to you in the beginning. I know I was cold. You made me a better person even though you believe otherwise. I apologise for hurting you with my words too," said Jana.

Magnus looked at him.

"Apology accepted. And, let's agree on 'we made each other better'," said Magnus.

Jana blushed.

"Okay, " he said and smiled as the man got Arth in his arms. They walked in happily.

Samuel made sure that Carles did not strain much.

Ili smiled as he watched all his brothers. He was so happy for them. He was also happy that he will go to Ilse. He loved Antony's family. They were great people and Ili would love to know them more. He will also learn Archery from Antony De Russe.

Ili blushed as he thought of that man and soon wiped all those scandalous thoughts away.

Clement looked at Jeev. The man smiled at him. They saw all other waiting in the entrance for them to follow.

"Come on, let's get in," said Clement.

Jeev walked beside him. He finally felt at home.

He did not know what life had in store for him, but that was okay. He will deal with it as they come.

Back in the palace, Kanwar stared at the blank wall. He had always tried to not think of the day his elder brothers would all leave. Now, he actually felt the loss. They were gone.

Kanwar breathed in and out. He did not know what to do. He needed Eka. He had written many letters to the guy even though no one knew of it.

Kanwar looked at his face in the mirror. He will write his last letter to Eka. After that, he will never do it again. Maybe their fate is to die without seeing each other. He did not tell Eka of the blackness. He did not want him to come out of sympathy. Maybe that was his pride.

Kanwar couldn't believe what he did to his own life. He still couldn't believe how he alienated his Eka. Now, maybe it was time for him to be paid back. Now, he was going to just take it and suffer.

Kanwar wrote down his heart in the paper. Then he stood near the top window as he watched it fly off.

Kanwar turned. Kings are supposed to be stern. He is. But he is also vulnerable. His Baba and Papa say it's okay for him to be vulnerable like any other human being.
