"Who is that? My Alpha," said Jeev silently as he looked at the face of all his brothers.

"That is Clement Manitini," said Ivory.

Jeev was silent. The man was godlike. But Jeev couldn't believe that the man was his Alpha. Then what about Silvio? He did no ritual like Silvio.

"Do you not want to mate with him?" asked Iker.

"We would never force you to do anything you don't want to do," said Atrey.

"I know. I just-. What if I am not his mate and someone else is and I- " Jeev looked down

"What you felt and what we saw is the truth. There is no doubt he is your mate," said Iker.

"Will he love me?" asked Jeev silently after everyone else left the room to Iker.

"Of course, my kid, even if you choose to not go with him, he would still love you, He is a nice kid. I and your baba like him but there is no pressure," said Iker.

Clement did not know what to do. All he knew was that he found his mate. But said mate has already found their mate who had rejected them and bound himself to a rogue.

Clement sighed. He looked up as Avadh walked in with the uncles.

"The priest said, you only end up mating with your mate in the end and if you were given pain on the way, believe that it was the result of a past. Know and hold what is given dear for that is yours and yours alone," said Avadh verbatim.

Jeev who was in the stairs heard it.

Clement looked at Jeev who looked down.

The breakfast was a silent thing next day. Clement smiled as Arth climbed on him and made him sit on his lap and fed him.

"Clem, I wanna run in the woods. Can we after food? " asked Arth.

Clement smiled.

"Okay, Princeling, we will go," said Clement making everyone snort.

"Why do I get the feeling that all my kids are called Princeling at Hallerbo? " asked Avadh.

"Because they are," said Ili.

Avadh snorted.

"Magnus started it," said Ili.

Jana smiled indulgently at Ili.

Antony looked away from the brat. However, Ahem and Cris were very much taken with the kid.

"You know Ili if your brothers don't mind you can come and learn Archery from Ilse. Ilse is not far from Hallerbo. You can go home every day," said Cris.

"Yeah, I-," Ili looked appealingly at all five.

"Yeah, okay," said Samuel after some time.

"I could kiss you now, but you are on the other side of the table, so," said Ili and blew a kiss.

Antony rolled his eyes. Ili sent a glare in Antony's direction.

"So now why I called you now in a rush is to introduce my sons in law to the packs. You are essentially now sons to this Kingdom and the royal family. You each have duties and responsibilities. So, now when you get back, all - Avadh hesitated a bit and looked at Jeev who looked away.

"Two of you- Avadh continued looking apologetically at Clement.

"Three," said Jeev looking up, a determination in his face.

Clement looked at him.

"Three, if he will take me with him," said Jeev

Clement looked at Jeev who was still not looking up.

"Yes," said Clement and Jeev whipped his head up in surprise and saw his Alpha looking at him.

Avadh sighed as he patted on Clement's shoulder and he looked at his father in law and smirked.

"Yes old man, you were saying," said Clement.

"Trust me, he is not that old," said Iker snickering.

Clement and all around cringed.

Avadh laughed as he went on.

"All three of you have a lot of responsibilities as the sons in law, including tax, Kanwar will discuss the other factors but first and foremost, I must now introduce you to all," said Avadh.

Clement knocked on Jeev's door.

Jeev opened the door and saw Clement. He stepped away letting the man in.

Clement sat on the couch.

"Since there seemed to be no point in waiting for an invitation to talk or sit, I think I will do it," said Clement.

"I am sorry, I never expected this," said Jeev.

"I know. Its true we did not expect a lot like I always thought my mate would be happy to see me," said Clement.

Jeev looked at him. But the man had a small smile on his face.

"I- I am happy," said Jeev.

"Well, you have a weird way of showing it," said Clement.

Jeev felt like he was being blamed which probably he was. The man was sad.

His irritation was clear when he said "Well, forgive me if I was shocked as fuck when I realised that I actually have a mate when I have thought another to be my mate for these many years and had him reject me," said Jeev.

Clement was way too calm for a person who got shouted at.

"Wow, so you do get angry. There is fire," said Clement.

"Yes, it will burn you if you play too much," said Jeev.

"What if I want to get burned? " asked Clement.

Jeev flushed. He stood still when the man walked towards him.

"See, I don't give a fuck about what happened in the past except that I would happily kill the guy for you," said Clement.

"Really? asked Jeev.

"Really, my mate gets everything he wants," said Clement.

Jeev raised his eyebrows.

"Except for another man," said Clement.

Jeev snorted.

This man was ridiculous.

"I also know you were happy to find out that I am your mate. I felt it. That you were just confused and worried. I- I think I am an ass who talks shit," said Clement.

Jeev looked at him.

"May I?" asked Clement.

Jeev nodded. Clement smiled as he bent down and kissed on Jeev's forehead.

Jeev blushed red as he looked down.

"I am- I am not a very social person. I know you are," said Jeev.

"I know. Now what's the fun if we were similar?" asked Clement.

They looked at each other.

Clement asked the one question he was dreading the answer to.

"Do you love him still? asked Clement.

Jeev looked at him in shock.

"I - I don't know," said Jeev frankly.

Clement did not know what to ask after that.
