Jana looked at Magnus's room. It was neat. He smelled all three brothers in the room.

"They clean up after me and we have small get-togethers in the entrance here," said Magnus, They stepped into the bedroom which only smelled of Magnus and Jana sighed. It was big and had many side rooms. Jana bathed Arth and dried him up and rocked him to sleep.

"We will need a room for Arth," said Jana slowly as to not awake Arth who was asleep.

Magnus nodded. For now, he can sleep here. By evening the room can be set," said Magnus.

Jana nodded and laid down Arth on the bed.

"Safe," mumbled the kid as he went into deep sleep.

"Did he use to feel unsafe?" asked Magnus.

"That man's pack tries to claim him and the royal pack was never packed for him," said Jana.

Magnus nodded.

"The Red Coven," said Jana answering the unasked question.

"You killed Alpha Sushen?" asked Magnus looking at his mate.

"I did," said Jana.

Magnus was silent.

He left them there. Jana washed and climbed on the bed and fell asleep. Magnus had a word with his brother before he too got back. He freshened up and came out to see the two people asleep on his bed. He felt a fierce protectiveness but he was an Alpha and he had his duties. He thought about his pack as he laid down next to Jana.

Jana woke up first by noon. He looked at his son and then at his Alpha. Both were dead to the world. He shook his son and woke him. Arth was growling the whole way down expressing his displeasure.

Samuel and Clement were in the hall room. Jana saw lunch on the table.

"Who cooked?" asked Jana as he let Arth sit on a chair.

"I did. I am a great cook," said Clement.

Jana shook his head amused and tasted the food to detect the amount of spices before giving it to Arth. Jana also had a small lunch.

"Yeah well, you are a good cook," said Jana.

"You can always kiss the cook," preened Clement. Jana rolled his eyes and pecked Clement on the cheek and forehead.

Clement preened more.

"I hate to think what your mate will have to put up with," said Magnus as he came down the stairs.

Samuel snorted.

"I was wondering the same," he said.

Clement scowled but went on to take Arth and move away to show the little kid around.

"The room to the left of our bedroom is not used now. It used to be my nursery when I was a kid. Maybe you can turn it into a room for Arth," said Magnus.

Jana nodded. He waited for Magnus to finish before saying "I would also like to see the pack land."

"Sure, not today," said Magnus.

Jana nodded.

Magnus got up and left. He did not say anything about when he would be back or where he was even going. He just left.

Jana looked on.

"There is a council meeting. He will be back by dusk," said Samuel before getting up and leaving," said Samuel and he too left.

Jana went up and looked at the nursery. He sighed and realised he needed help.

"Do you guys have maids?" asked Jana.

"No, We don't like having others in here," said Clement.

"I need help with setting up the nursery. I hope you and big brother will help," said Jana.

"I will go get him and when Magnus gets back he can join," smiled Clement enthusiastically. Samuel and Clement helped him clean up the room. They were both Alpha's and very big men and still did not hesitate to help him out with this which earned them both a brownie point with him. They were pretty good older brothers to have.

Clement took Arth out when he started making a mess.

"You know when Dad and Mom died Magnus was just 14 and Clement was 10. I was 17 and took over the pack. I never did have much time for them. That shows and forgive him when he makes mistakes. Magnus is very good at heart. Trust me," said Samuel.

Jana nodded already wondering where his Alpha was. It is almost 6 in the evening. He slipped on something and Samuel caught him.

"Are you that worried about him?" asked Samuel making Jana stand straight.

Jana sighed.

"I didn't realise it myself, but yeah I guess," said Jana.

Samuel nodded.

He went out and looked at Clement who nodded. They both went into the woods. Magnus was on way back.

"Why are you both here?" asked Magnus.

"Because your mate almost tripped over and would have had a concussion if I had not caught him because he was worried about you," said Samuel.

Clement nodded. Magnus groaned.

They walked back to the house.

Magnus saw Jana's worried face and realised his brothers were not bluffing. They went to their room.

"Did you get the room ready?" asked Magnus.

"No, we will need professionals for that. All three of us cleaned up a lot," said Jana.

Magnus nodded.

He looked at Arth who was playing with puzzles now. He looked up feeling Magnus' eyes on him. He gave a little wolf growl and went back to his puzzle.

Magnus was a bit amused. He looked at Jana who looked unsure.

"What is wrong?" asked Magnus.

"I would like to know where you are taking off to before you fuck off to wherever it is," said Jana in a hushed tone.

"You are not my taskmaster," said Magnus.

"No, But I would feel better knowing that you are not out there dying," said Jana.

Magnus sighed and gave in.

"I will try," he said before leaving to freshen up.

Next morning, they hired some people to help with the room. Magnus was home and looked at Jana who brought him tea.

Magnus narrowed his eyes and looked at Clement who hid a smile. Magnus took the tea. Jana smiled a bit. Apparently, Magnus loved tea so much that it can calm him down even at the height of his temper.

Magnus had the tea and looked at Jana.

Meanwhile, the house was also being made child-friendly. Changes were happening as Jana step foot into the Northern pack land of Hallerbos.
