Part 13 Y/n POV: "Y-you're S-spiderman?" I asked. "Y/n, please don't be mad, I was going to tell you, but in a better situation than in the one we're in now, and-" I gave him a look so that he'd shut up. "Peter, I'm not mad... I'm just confused. And these are not the best conditions to just find out." He held his hands up in defeat. "So you're not mad?" He asked. "No... I don't know. I guess I'm just really hung up on last night. You're lucky I am though." I raised my eyebrows, and pointed at him.

"Why am I lucky...?" He asked. "If what happened last night, didn't happen, then I'd be fuming mad." I answered. "Speaking of last night, how'd you sleep. Like, actually, sleep?" He asked. I thought about this. "Well, I remember the crime scene, and vaguely going shopping. Then, I don't remember anything... Did I fall asleep in the car?" I asked. "Yeah, you did. It wasn't a big deal though." Peter informed me with a wave of his hand. "Did I snore?" I asked with a small laugh. "No." He shook his head and continued to speak. "You didn't snore. You just slept. You looked pretty tired."

It was quiet, which was nice. Then, I wanted to ask a question. "Are you an Avenger?" I asked. He shook his head. "No. I mean, maybe. But, no." Awkward silence. "Peter, do I smell food, or-" He laughed. "Yeah, I bought some breakfast because I can't cook..." He chuckled nervously. "I could teach you." I replied walking into the kitchen. Aunt May was eating a cinnabon, and sipping hot cocoa. "You know, I saw what happened this morning on tv, with Spiderman." Aunt May started. "I know he's just trying to help, but he should just leave this to the police! He broke more glass, and ruined gardens that wouldn't have been ruined if he left this to the police." She shook her head.

"Well, it was a cactus garden, and those always scratch up your car." I pointed out. I watched the rerun of Spiderman webbing one of the robbers to the wall near the cacti. I picked up a cinnabon, and bit into it. "This is good!" I exclaimed, savoring the sweet flavors. "Fresh?"I asked. "Yeah, it was torture, I had to wait in the bakery for it." He replied. "Y/n, how would you like to go to the park?" Aunt May asked. "Sure, I'd love to go! Uh, incognito of course. Peter probably should as well..." I replied. "Yes, yes, of course, now go get some fresh air, it could do you good." She nodded.

"Technically the air isn't fresh here in New York because the air population is-" Aunt May shushed Peter before he could ramble on about numbers. I went inside Peter's bedroom, and grabbed the bag of clothes. Aunt May said she'd go run some errands, and then she'd be back soon. "Bye!" Peter called out. I was walking out of Peter's room, as he was entering. He went to the left, and I went to the right. "Phew, none of that happened." I thought.

Peter Parker's POV: Aunt May had to go run some errands, and she gave me a couple of dollars to use for taxi, and lunch. I grabbed a black jacket, shades, and a hat. I walked out and saw Y/n sitting on a stool in the kitchen. Her back was was facing me, so I couldn't see her. I coughed, and she shook her head, apologizing. "Sorry, I was just busy watching this bird." She laughed. I liked her laugh, and her smile. It was simple, and small, and lopsided. "It's fine." I replied. She looked at my hair, and then the shades. "That won't cut it..." She replied. "C'mon..." She scoffed. I followed her into my room.

"Sit." I sat down on my bed, and she went into the bathroom, grabbing hair gel, and a comb. "You gotta make sure nobody can recognize you." She replied. She brushed my hair back, then took some hair gel and swooped it over to the side.  She combed it so it would look nice, and then furrowed her brow. "You've got one piece of hair that won't stay..." She replied, giving up, she rolled her eyes. "I'm gonna go wash my hands, and get to work on my hair." She went into the kitchen, and washed her hands. I put everything away, and decided to clean up a little.

I walked out, and saw Y/n with her h/l h/c hair pulled up in a bun. She had false glasses, and a little bit of mascara and lipgloss. "Well, what do you think?" She asked, grabbing one of my jackets. "You look nice, er, pretty, I mean, you dont look like you." I fumbled with my words. "Let's go." She nodded her head towards the door. I grabbed a key to the apartment, my backpack, and some cash. We headed down, and took a taxi. "Hello Miss, how may I help you today...?" Asked the unusually young taxi driver.

"Uh, any way you could take us to Alley Pond Park?" She asked. "Of course, anything for you, miss!" He winked, and started to drive. The ride was filled with Y/n and I talking, and of course, the driver hitting, on Y/n. How could I possibly forget that? When he dropped us off, then told us we didn't have to pay. "Well why not?" I asked. "Because she was there, why else?" He smirked, then drove off.

After he was gone, Y/n sighed. "Oh, my freaking gosh... He was annoying." We walked over to a bench, and sat under a bench in the shade. "So you weren't the only one annoyed?" I asked. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Well, his jokes were bad, and it was quite annoying how he'd interrupt us in the middle of a conversation!" I replied a little loud. She gave a small huff, and said, "You know, I don't know why, but I like being here. Instead of sitting in front of a small fire, reading a book, I like to just sit here."

I nodded. "Had I been here sooner, I would've spent more time in parks. Especially when studying..." "You study at parks?" She asked. "Yeah, or at least, I used to. Before the Internship." I replied. "Riiight..." She nodded. That was when I heard it. The sirens. I looked up, and saw smokestacks in the sky. "Peter...." Y/n gasped. She saw it too. "Do you have everything, your suit?" She whispered. I nodded. I handed her my backpack, and before I could take off she grabbed my wrist. "Pete, just... Be careful. I need you to come back to Aunt May alive. Also, my dad will probably kill me if you get hurt." She joked.

"I'll be careful, I'll meet you here Y/n. If it takes too long, head back to the apartment. The key is in there, so is some money and-" "Peter, just go, I'll be fine... I promise." She smiled slightly, and I dashed off. "Why today?" I asked myself. "Can't a superhero have  a day off?" I dashed into a park bathroom, and slipped my hoodie off, and my jeans. I wadded them up, and tossed them at Y/n as I ran past her. She grimaced, and put the clothes in the bag. I glanced back, then started to web my way into the city. "I sure hope nobody's planning to ambush me!" I thought, and with that, I headed towards the danger.
