The Dragon's Ring

Chapter One

*PRESENT DAY: OCTOBER 2019 - 1 week and 4 days before Halloween*

The city of Bethlehem was preparing itself for the annual Halloween Festival of 2019.  The houses were decorated in Halloween decorations, many people were wearing their Halloween costumes early and the scares were already jumping at people at every corner.  The festival itself would be taking place in the center of the city which already was set.  4 miles away to the north from the center was the new local museum called the Bethlehem Museum of Archaeology.

And 3 miles away to the south from the center was the house of the Kowalski family.  The house itself was made of bricks, a single building, 2-stories tall and had an old fashion roof.

Our story begins on this very day...

Snoring away was a man named Tony Kowalski.  Tony Kowalski is a well-known football athlete who plays for the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles.  He is also called the 'Muscle Man' due to his great strength.  He had short black hair with a full grown beard, greatly bulky and was 6' 2.

The door to his bedroom opens slowly and a person sneaks into the room.  His name was Robert Kowalski, a well-known comedian for his dirty, but humorous jokes.  He had poofy brown hair, thin but with a bit of muscle and was 6' 4.

Robert tiptoed very slowly to the Queen-sized bed that Tony was sleeping on.  Tony's room was filled with posters of the Eagles, had a TV and dresser that was next to the wall facing the bed and had a lava lamp on his nightstand that was to the right of the bed.

Robert stops in front of the bed, pulls out an air horn out of his pocket and gets it close to Tony's face and pushes the button.

*HOOOONK*

"AHHHH!!" Tony screams and falls off the bed and Robert steps back.

"GOT YOU, SHITHEAD!! HAHAHAHA!!!" Robert teased and runs out of the room and down the stairs.

"Oh, you son of a bitch!!" Tony shouted, "I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS!!!"

Tony gets back to his feet and runs down the stairs after Robert.  Robert is laughing out loud as Tony was chasing him.  The 2 siblings are known for their constant pranks on each other.  But what they are well-known for are their rough-housing and fights.  A majority of them are for fun while the others are over some random and little things.

The 2 ran into the living room where Tony tackled Robert and pinned him to the ground with little to no effort.

"Got you, you son of a bitch!!" Tony shouted.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?" came a voice which caused Tony to get off of Robert and Robert got back up on his feet, "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT TIME IT IS?!?  IT'S 6:32 IN THE MORNING!!"

Walking down the stairs was a woman with a bit of gray hair, thin and was 6'1.  It was their mother.  No one said a word once their mother got off the stairs and walked over to them.  They could tell that they woke her up because of the state her hair was in.  If there is one thing that you should never do, it's waking up your mother at 6:32 in the morning.

Just before anyone could say anything, another set of footsteps came down the stairs.  They turned their attention to the living room entrance and they all muttered: "Oh, shit..."
