Jimmy's POV

"Hey," I hear her voice next to me as we are nestled together on the couch. A week-old Winnie is snuggled in her arms, sound asleep, the TV show since abandoned flashing on the screen.

"What's up, Nan?" I ask as we both stare at Winnie, a smile on my face and no doubt one on hers.

"I was just thinking... I wish you had red hair."

"Excuse me?" I was dumbfounded. "I would not look good with red hair."

"I think you would," she sighed.

"Why, exactly, would you like me to have red hair?"

"So that way Winnie could have had red hair. I would have loved a little red-haired baby."

"Wait, why couldn't you have had red hair?"

"Me? Red hair? Are you kidding me? I would look terrible with the kind of red hair I'm imagining."

"What the hell, Nan?" I laughed at her before we both turned our attention back to Winnie.

I stare at the little girl for longer than I should. It's almost creepy at this point.

"Jimmy? Hello?" I shake back into reality. Mia looks like she hasn't slept all night.

"Um, hi. Sorry. Please, come in." I move out of the way so Mia and the little girl can squeeze in. I watch Mia lean down to help her out of her jacket and boots. "I can take those." I'm met with a gracious smile from them both. Once Mia's coat is off, I get ready to open my mouth-

"I am so sorry for this. My sister-in-law just had her baby two months early and she's Sailor's sitter- oh this is Sailor, Sailor say hi to Jimmy- anyways I am so sorry that this is so unprofessional but my brother is distraught and couldn't watch her and we haven't slept in twenty-four hours and-"

"Mia," my dad voice rings out. "Sorry, it's fine. Come sit down, you need a breather." I look behind me for the second time in three days to make sure she's following me as I head to my breakfast nook. She settles down, the girl on her knee as I grab a cup of coffee. I bring it to her, a couple packets of creamer as well.

"Mama." I hear the girl whisper to Mia. "He's on our TV." I throw my head back and laugh as Mia smiles down at the girl, at her daughter.

"I am. I'm Jimmy." I reach my hand across the table to the girl. She eyes it, before turning to whisper to Mia again.

"Mama, why is he out of the TV?"

"He doesn't live in our tv, Sails." Mia giggles. "Shake Mr. Jimmy's hand and tell him who you are. It would be impolite not to."'

"Hi Mr. Jimmy," her little voice rings out. "My name is Sailor Grey Wilson," Mia whispers into her ear. I watch this little girl roll her eyes, eyebrows raised and all. She's a little dramatic. "It's good to meet you."

"Sailor Grey, huh?"

"Named after Nana Karen," Sailor responds. "Nana Karen Grey."

"Well, it's nice to meet you Sailor Grey, named after Karen Grey."

"Jonah's named after his dad and Mama's named after her dad's mama's mama and Lily and Evan are named after Harry Potter's mama because Uncle Park and Aunt Lara Jean love Harry Potter."

"Hmm. Okay." I take this time to look at Mia as she watches her daughter talk. She looks... different, today. Yes, she looks tired, but watching her watch Sailor makes her look... at peace. She looks like this is where she should always be... almost like this is what she's meant to be doing with her life.
