Chapter 14

*Insert aggravated cat noises*

Mistypaw groaned as Silverpaw and Flamepaw growled ideas at each other, throwing in mouse-brained insults at each other from time to time." Will you two mouse-brains stop trying to claw all our ears off and just get in the water and swim!" Yowled Mistypaw before jumping into the water and swimming to the other side. The current pounded on her side as she soon felt Silverpaws fur brush agiansent her for support. And soon they both made it to the other side unscathed.

And when Mistypaw looked for Flamepaw all she saw was Flamepaw drowning and Leo trying his hardest to save her.And that scene was enough to convince her to jump back in to save her.She found it harder to swim back to help her then it did to swim with Silverpaw. Mistypaw swiftly swam to her drowning friend fighting the current with all her strength.Once she found Flamepaw she grabbed her by the scruff ignoring her aching legs yowling at her to rest,but she had to save Flamepaw this time she cant let her die.

As soon as they made it to the cold rocky ground knowing that Flamepaw is safe she collapsed to the rocky ground in pain. "Are you too ok!" exclaimed Silverpaw. All Mistypaw could manage was a small nod to calm the silver tabby. And sighed as he checked Flamepaw who coughed up puddle of water.Leo nudged Mistypaw to check if she was well and she smiled at his worry for a cat he has only just meet.
Mistypaw soon got up to Silverpaws content and she padded to Flamepaw to check if the orange she-cat was ok
And when she heard her breathing normally she instantly calmed.
And soon enough Flamepaw could normally stand but Silverpaw urged her to sit and rest for the rest of the day and she hesitantly nodded at least that was what Mistypaw caught from their recent conversation and glances.

"Hey Mistypaw,glad to see your doing well," said Leo suddenly startling Mistypaw only a little."Hope you dont kind if I lay here, it seems we might have to put our journey on hold."ya we are going to put it aside because I was a mouse brain once again.
Leo seemed to notice her frustration and gave her a little luck on her ear to calm her,which worked.
And before Mistypaw could smile at him they were bushed by a new group if cats, once again...
"State your business here " said a broad shouldered blue tom with a group of three other cats."We are just Clan cats passing through to find the tribe" quickly answered Silverpaw."We just needed rest so I could help my friend Flamepaw here ,she almost died drowning."The group of cats looked at eachother then a Silver she-cat spoke in a softer tone then her friend."So your from the Clans, Sunclaws perhaps".I was going to answer but Silverpaws glare made me think otherwise." Yes me and Flamepaw come from his clan while the other 2 come from the other clan,"  he finished.they nodded at eachother and their burning gazes softened, but only a little bit which helped me relax a little." Very well we will take you to our camp where Moonteller will help your friend and decide what we should do follow us," a dark grey tabby tom concluded.We all reluctantly followed me being the last worried that we would be walking to our deaths like last time with Rouge Clan.
Mistypaw glanced around as they follow the group of unfamiliar cats.Flamepaw leaned on Silverpaw for balance while a slick furred looking black tabby eyed us hostility.And I just glared at him daring him to make a move which seemed like barely enough to make him stop staring but he still kept glancing at us.
We stopped at a barely noticable camp entrance and new scents completely flooded my nose.And through my glances at everyone I noticed Flamepaws muttering completely unadubile to me but Silverpaw seemed to perk up at her words.

"We are here I will help your friend over to Moonteller and you all can rest her until Moonteller makes her decision" said the she-cat.
We all tried settling in but the wary glances and stares we got made it impossible.Then a little cat you look no more then a apprentice came up to greet us "hey there, I am Valley of sweet aroma or Valley for short, and this is my brother Stones with jagged peaks or Stone." Valley was a black cat with a white belly and the time hiding behind her, stone if she recalls is a really light brown tabby tom. Who continued to shy away from us."Well its great to meet you Valley and Stone I am Leo the grey she-cat is Mistypaw, The silver tabby is Silverpaw, and the one with Moonteller is Flamepaw," Greeted Leo happily. Valley smiled and when I managed to get a glance at him I managed to spot a hint of curiosity in Stones eyes but his pelt still prickled in fear she noticed. Another cat soon came up to us and protectively wrapped her tail around the two cats."I see you have come back, Mane, leo is a curious name to take to hide yourself," spat the she-cat. I stared at Leo a stern look plastered on his face, Silverpaw gasped probably astonished by the words the she-cat said but she could only guess that. "Mane,leo what does she mean do you know the tribe cats," questioned Silverpaw. Mistypaw felt no need to butt in on their conversation it was already tense enough without her talking. "Are you not going to say anything Mane, you leave me and our kits just because you felt you had no place here but...you had a big place in my heart Mane!" Cried the heartbroken she-cat.

" I am sorry Midnight I truly did love you but a place where my life was already decided...was not for me," Leo  or... Mane said sorrowfully. " wait does that mean... your Mane of the majestic lion," exclaimed Stone his interest peaked and his fear faded like it was never there to start. " So you are a tribe cat Leo or should I say...Mane," said Mistypaw finally cutting in. Silverpaw was shocked,he was speechless.Everybody quickly started gossiping and murmurs flooded the cave as their argument quieted into simple whispers only the two could hear. "Let's leave them alone and check up on Flamepaw,they clearly have stuff to clear up Silverpaw," gently whispered Mistypaw. She felt their burning gazes graze her like the claws of the  hawk she faced as a kit as she padded to the den Flamepaw entered.

"Um excuse...Moonteller right nay we please come in to see our friend," asked Mistypaw. " Please feel free to come and see your friend clan cats," said an old ragged voice.We both entered the den, the den glinted a light blue like the caves and there was a pool in the middle of the den and a hole in the roof which let moonlight shine into it with only edges of the roof remaining to let little coverage from the weather. "Greetings clan cats
I welcome you to the tribe of blue caves, I Am Teller of the changing moon or Moonteller the tribe of endless hunting told me of your arrival last full moon," said Moonteller.I nodded fretting her but Silverpaw glared at me for my introduction and greeted her for me. "Hello it is an honor to meet you Moonteller, I am Silverpaw and this is Mistypaw you seem to already know of Le-ugh I mean Mane snd that she-cat is Flamepaw if you dont know." Moonteller's eyes widened and excitement glazed her eyes but she remained still beside Flamepaws
resting body. "So my son has returned he was the only in my litter to survive and now my only remaining kin," murmured Moonteller almost inaudible but loud enough to hear if you paid attention.

Moonteller soon padded out of her den without saying a word leaving us with Flamepaw. We both had nothing to say so I just walked over to her sleeping body and laid down beside her resting her head on the cold hard ground. she just slowly let her eyes close and the darkness lure her into a dreamless sleep.

Oh hey it's done now and ready to read and hope ya enjoy it. I honestly dont know if it matters but I am planning some type of schedule so that any other story I start I can just squeeze it in my schedule anyway I hope you enjoyed this new chapter of WARRIOR CATS NEW DAWN!!
