Chapter 17

Mistypaw stormed away from the den she was very confused scared and annoyed.
She just snapped at Silverpaw with no reason why, at least to them...

I cant believe I did that, all that was just a dream everyone wont just betray me...right?

Mistypaw recalled her dream and the thought of it backed up  her fears.

*dreamy not normal flashback-ish*
Mistypaw found herself in a black void devoid of nothing.
"H-hello is anyone there?" She stuttered .And for a little only heard the echo of her own voice, which in time disappeared into the shadows.

A chuckle was all the response Mistypaw got. Mistypaw felt her pelt prickle and she couldn't hide the fear scent that drifted through the air.

"Dont be so scared Mistypaw it's just me, Dawnpelt," The tabby she-cat appeared near Mistypaw smiling.

"What is it, Dawnpelt?" She wondered sorta remembering the tabby she-cat with the other cat she remembers as Nightfur.

"It is only me tonight, I have come to give you one last warning before sending you off," Dawnpelt responded calmly.
"Your last warning was vague and obvious so what is it," she demanded.

"You dont have to be so harsh young apprentice, Snowkit wished to come but this warning mustn't be ignored by touchy moments," teased Dawnpelt.

Mistypaw hissed at the she-cat aggravated by this news. She didnt want another warning and one that could mean something this time.

" Be careful who you trust, for those you trust may betray your heart," Dawnpelt whispered.

The she-cat faded into a glimmer of faded stars leaving Mistypaw in the empty void stuck in her thoughts.

Betray my heart?! Does she mean Silverpaw, his done it before what if he does it again, killing us.

Mistypaw felt she had no one to turn to and then her dream faded into nothing

And she found herself back in Moontellers den...
*not so normal flashback-ish ends...*

Mistypaw realised that while she was stuck remembering her dream, 3 cats that looked no bigger then her were trying to get her attention.

"Hey are you ok you seemed pretty scared and your claws are scratching the cave floor too..." questioned the young light grey cat.
"Oh I am sorry I was stuck in thought, I am Mistypaw," she greeted not entirely listening to their conversation.
"Well it's nice to meet you, I'm puddle that reflects light, or puddle, the light orange cat is Hawk that flys in circles, and the one beside me is the one that greeted you before, Valley," the light grey tom purred satisfied he got Mistypaws attention.

"Well it's nice to meet you two, and it's nice to see you again Valley," she responded.

Valley jumped trying to hold her excitement, while Hawk puffed up his fur a little intimidated by Mistypaw.

"I am sorry for valley, she can get excited sometimes maybe a little to much," glared Hawk. "Sorry Hawk it's just we dont get visitors often," apologized Valley.

"Oh wait I just remembered, Tree sent us here to tell you that if Moonteller let's you stay tonight we will show you guys where you'll sleep," mentioned puddle.

"Well that's nice,Moonteller did say we would have to stay a night for Flamepaw," she answered

"Take your time, well we better go, I bet Star will claw our ears off if we dont see her soon," joked Valley.
And so the to-bes went off leaving Mistypaw alone with her thoughts.

Mistypaw felt stones into her paw pads as she clawed at the rocky floor.I cant stay here and lie around thinking of that tabbys warning all day, Mistypaw thought and padded off to the entrance of the camp. "Ahem, clan cat if you are going to stay here then I must ask," asked a bulky black tom. "Its Mistypaw" she answered waiting for his question. "Well then I thought that it might be a good idea to join one of our hunting patrols to help our tribe," he wondered. Mistypaw didnt want to be a burden to the tribe so she nodded and followed the tom to a group of three other cats. One she recognized as stone the apprentice from earlier, there where also two others who didnt glare at Mistypaw with distrust like other have it was...relaxing.The Black tom flicked his tail to the two other cats and stone,"Mistypaw im Rain that falls in a storm,The brown she-cat is Mouse that searches for food,the orange tom is Fire that rages through trees, And last is Stone with jagged peaks".Spoutted Rain. Mistypaw nodded trying to reember all the names and shorten them before introducing herself. " Hello my name is Mistypaw one of the Clan cats," Mistypaw greeted flicking her tail nervously as the cats smiled at her. "Its great to meet you but we must go on patrol now, and dont worry we will teach you how we hunt around here too," the she-cat named Mouse beams.

Mistypaw simply nodded as she followed the group out still ignoring the burning glare she earned from Rain. They soon entered the blue lit caves once agian and the patrol headed for the river as she was approached by Fire."Hey there its nice to meet you, I wouldnt be bothered to much by Rains attitude he has always been a bit cold," he reassured clearly noticing her unease."is he really like this a lot? well it dosent matter so what are we going to hunt?" questioned Mitypaw curiously."we are going to hunt fish, sometimes the fish try to swim down or up the waterfall and so it makes it easy to hook them through our paws and catch them, dont worry I will teach you when we get there." Fire quickly explained as they climbed a rocky path to the top of the waterfall."OK Mouse go to the river and watch for upcoming fish while I help Stone catch them, and since fire volunteered he will quickly train this clan to-be instructed River sternly. 

Mistypaw felt excitment prick her pelt,its been forever since she tried to fish and she was starting to miss their delicious taste. "Ok Mistypaw, fish tend to climb the waterfall and when they do get to the top the fly in the air and leaves the vulnerable enough for an easy catch," he properly explained as he shifted his stance and let her watch as stone proceeded to catch the flying fish and Mouse warned of upcoming prey.

"I have fished before so I think im ready to try," Mistypaw answered confidently. Fire nodded "If you think so I will warn you of upcoming fish just hang to the water and the fish will come and if you're ready you should be fine."

Fire went down near Mouse to help spot fish coming up,I got in the cold water that just about reached my belly fur and stood beside Stone waiting for the warning. I messed up a few time by hooking onto the fish but it slipped out of my paws and another time I missed it by a paw length.I noticed how much it was like fishing and by using some techniques I learned from my mentor and I started getting the hand of it.

We all finished hunting with a load of fish I felt proud for the first time in awhile as I walked by the tribe cats carrying our catches,it almost felt like the troubles back at the clan were just a dream.

I AM SO SORRY it took forever but I finished the chapter. I really am sorry for my inconsistent posting of chapters. I got writers block and then school just kicked me in the gut, and I am really sorry and I dont know when I may get my schedule in check so dont expect to much from me again sorry and I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
