Flamepaw slowly opened her eyes she looked around to see the pond and a open gap in the roof of the den she lay in. She would have moved but she felt the warm pelts on her sides and she didn't dare move to lose the warmth and then be stuck on the cold hard rocky ground.

"Moonteller so your dealing with rouges and they convinced the other tribe to help them," said a familiar tom who Flamepaw recognized as Silverpaw.

"I am not sure what you mean by rouges but the cats of no home changed Suntellers perspective and now they are trying to kick us out of the mountains," Moonteller sighed.

"That's awful they are trying to kick you out of your home!" exclaimed Silverpaw.

"Yes I am afraid so, from what they told me they probably told Sunteller the same thing, that the other would just be taking the prey they could own and no cat would starve," Moonteller paused as her voice cracked up.
"So now our brother tribe wishes for our move, or the rocks will be stained with our tribes blood."

Silverpaw gasped as Flamepaw held back a hiss of aggression from what they heard. "Oh Flamepaw your awake, how are you doing," Silverpaw asked finally noticing that she was awake.
"My throat and nose stings, but other then that im better then I was before," she joked.
Silverpaw purred in amusement as Moonteller sniffed Flamepaw. "Yes you are definitely doing much better now," concluded Moonteller.

"That's great , do you think we will be able to continue our journey by half moon?" He asked. "It all depends on how bad the condition is, she may get bitter throat," Moonteller responded.

"Bitter throat what is that?" Silverpaw wondered.

"Its a sickness some of my cats get when they inhale to much water and survive, it's quite common," Moonteller answered.

Silverpaw nodded as Flamepaw felt the other cat beside her stir in their sleep. Flamepaw rolled on spot to see the cat beside her without bothering them.

It was Mistypaw.

Flamepaw didnt know why she was beside her, they may have somewhat forgiven eachother, but Flamepaw still cant trust a cat that left her to those rouges.

She stayed calm as the grey she-cats chest rose up and down. "So we might be able to leave by half moon, that's great my kin is most likely worried about me and think I'm dead." Silverpaw said sadly.

"Ya but not only that but we must get back and defeat that fox hearted deputy Heartclaw before she destroys the clans," Flamepaw added.
"Heartclaw, the deputy of grass clan but why what's wrong with her?" Silverpaw asks confused.

Flamepaw tilts her head confused herself on how he doesn't know about her treachery. "You mean we didnt tell you about that tratior!" Flamepaw blurted out.

Silverpaw seemed quite shocked and Flamepaw could tell Moonteller was listening to their conversation in the distance while sorting herbs.
Flamepaw sighed preparing to explain their situation.

"Heartclaw is not the brave honest deputy she may seem, she is a cold hearted killer and will do anything for power even if she has to kill for it,"  she grumbled.

"So grass clan has a corrupt deputy who will kill any cat for power,  what a shame," The silver tabby said wistfully.

"Yes it's truly a shame that a cat would even go as far as to try and kill a few apprentices," Mistypaw said suddenly.
"Oh your awake I didnt notice, again," Silverpaw responded.
"You know you will probably get yourself killed if dont pay more attention," Mistypaw erupted harshly.

Silverpaw and Flamepaw were very shocked by her sudden harshness."wha-wait I know that I just I...," Silverpaw stuttered he couldn't even say anything to defend his lack of awarness.

"Thought so, you should work on that or you will get yourself killed and that would be a very stupid death for a medicine cat," was the last thing the grey Apprentice growled before stalking out of Moontellers den.
The two lay still with pure shock at her aggression towards Silverpaw, it was so sudden and un called for.

Is she still mad at Silverpaw for his betrayal, but she never was this rude until now...

Flamepaw was considerably worried about her even if she still didnt trust Mistypaw.
"I-I... is it really that bad, is it really a problem why did she just..."  Silverpaw couldn't muster a sentance after all that he just seemed so startled and confused.

"Its fine Silverpaw...she didnt mean it I think," Flamepaw tries to reassure her friend. But her reasurrment came out bland and not very comforting.
Moonteller eyed the two worried by their reactions.

"I-I think I am going to head out for a little walk maybe try and find the mountain range I've heard about..." he said sorrowfully as he moved outside of the den.

"Maybe I should go find-" Moonteller cut off Flamepaws suggestion quickly.
"NO you mustn't leave, it would just increase the chance of getting sick the more you use your strength, trust me I have seen the results..." warned Moonteller.

Flamepaw stopped knowing that her health needs to get better, so they can find the shimmering stones. "Now that I think about it...Moonteller do you know anything about the shimmering stones, it's actually the reason we came out here." Asked Flamepaw hopefully.

"You mean the stones that shimmer with the light?" Questioned Moonteller. "Errr, yes those are what I am asking about," Flamepaw answered a little confused.

"Well the Shimmering stones as you clan cats call them, is actually the place the two tribes once met with eachother," the dark grey she-cat mumbled.
"Really do you think you can take us there, it's really important for the clans." Flamepaw requested

"We haven't been there for moons, and I bet if the cats from the other tribe spot us there it would end in complete bloodshed," Moonteller predicted.

"But we really need to it may be the end of all the clans if we dont find it!" The orange apprentice exclaimed.
"Well I am sorry young one, but this isnt like the times when Goldenswirl came, he didnt even need the place in the end now that I recall it," Moonteller remembered.

"You mean Goldenstar?in the tale of the Shimmering stones it was said he went there and learned a new way to defeat the unknown rouges!" Flamepaw shouted.

"Well that isnt truly the full tale, he came here for the shimmering stones and it wasent anything he expected, he was very confused and for the time he and his group stayed we taught them the ways of our tribe and he came to a relazation and then left with his friends," Moonteller corrected.

"So he was guided here and found another way... the tribe way meaning you cats have a different way a unique one that could help us defeat heartclaw!" Flamepaw realized and a new buzz of excitement and determination flooded here.

They were guided here to learn a new way of defeating Heartclaw.
