Mane was deep in thought as he and Midnight silently argued and the cats around would slowly walk away or state from afar. Mane didnt notice Moonteller come out and walk towards them. "So it's true, Mane you have returned to your tribe," gleamed Moonteller. Mane was still busy waiting to see if his old mate would ever stop arguing ignore her words as he gave a nod of greeting to Moonteller which seemed to stop Midnight her speech.

"Moonteller I am gravely sorry I hadn't noticed you there," Midnight apologized

"There is no problem Midnight it must be hard to see your mate after he abandoned his tribe for the upwalkers in the forest," said Moonteller. Midnight padded away anger lacing every pawstep and sorrow glazed her deep green eyes. "You know your always welcome back Mane your kits and tribemates tend to miss your joyful spirit," Moonteller said. "I..I honestly dont know if this is my place still Moonteller , I just feel so lost," he whispered painfully. Moonteller nodded "but I will always think about the offer to come back," he remarked.

Moonteller smiled and nuzzled Mane she purred happy to see him once agian. Mane was happy to see his kin and tribemates again but he felt sorrow and pain hit him like a cat bit his neck because of his mistake of leaving his mate and kits.

"Well it is great to have you here Mane, but now I should go check on your friend she is quite weak," decided Moonteller. "Thank you for doing this Moonteller, we really appreciate what your doing for us," he thanked as Moonteller walked back to her den.

He sat alone on the cold rocky floor deep in thought as the pain of his mistake burned his pelt.

I gave two choices now, return to the tribe but I may still gave my old mates anger hit me, or I go back to the forest as a loner with no one but myself.

Mane was stuck in the thought of his choices not knowing what might happen if he chose one instead of the other. "You know that we want you back right, she is just going through a lot because sky that turns orange at dawn died," reassured an older white tom.

He looked up to see warm blue eyes welcoming him. "River?" Mane questioned but instead of letting him answer he continued speaking. "So her mother died..."

River nodded and sat beside him giving a few comforting licks to help him through his sorrow. "Thank you old friend, I appreciate your kindness," he purred to River also giving him a couple of friendly licks.

"I have always wanted to have a name like yours, River that swims with the fish is truly a great name," Mane complemented. "Well Mane of the majestic lion is a great name too," River comforted.

Mane smiled at his friend happy to see another cat glad to see him."I should go it would be bad if I left stars that shine at night alone soon before her kitting," River decided. "Wait, you mean you have a mate?" Mane felt the urge to ask. River nodded happily as he padded away to the nursery.

Mane looked down as he felt the glares of his tribemates burn his pelt.
Mane got and looked around at his tribemates, his tribe seemed to thrive like when he left it. But just like when he left it they thrived but the tribe of rocky cliffs and the cats of no home
Might still have an alliance and might still be agiansent his tribe.

Instead of thinking about it he headed to Moonteller's den to ask her if they are still causing trouble."Moonteller I dont want to bother you but I must ask something, may I come in?" Mane asked waiting for his answer.

"Please come in Mane but it must be quick I have to care for your friend," Moonteller asked hastily.

Mane stepped inside to see Mistypaw and Flamepaw sleeping side by side and Silverpaw sat guard by them, and helped Moonteller care for flamepaw.

"Moonteller I am sorry for disturbing you but I must ask, is the other tribe and the cats of no home causing chaos still?" He questioned

Moonteller shifted uneasily at his question she looked at Silverpaws curious amber eyes before answering.
"We have only caught their scent but so far they haven't caused trouble, but I fear they are plotting something big.

Mane looked down he knew it they might still be a danger to his tribe. "Really well that is all I wanted to hear I will be pit of your way now," he dipped his head and went to the hanging vines that showed him the exit.

"Mane I have one thing left to say, since you are going to stay until your friend is better you might as well provide for the tribe and hunt," Moonteller concluded

Mane nodded he was planning on returning to his prey-hunter duties after all he cant leave his tribe again, no he must stay this time

I have to protect my Tribe my loyalty must be to them
