7: A little bit of kokichi

"The real treasure from the park! A memory with just you, Y/n."

"W-what? Stop playing around kokichi.."

"I mean it thoughhh. We've been dealing with people for soooo long now! I just wanted a moment with my sweet bestfriend~"

That conversation was still in your head. You knew he was just messing with you like always but.. You couldn't stop thinking about it, it made you feel strang. You were both flattered and confused and.. almost offended, because if he was messing with you and was just lying.. it would kinda hurt. Your friendship with Kokichi meant a lot to you and you didn't like the idea of him treating it like a joke. You looked out the window, it was dark. You signed and sat up from your bed, you just couldn't sleep eventhough you were tired as hell. You slipped out and quietly left your room, into the living room and outside. You managed to climb onto the roof some how. You found a good place to sit and quietly stared at the moon, your breathe showing in the cold air of the night as you let out a long and stressful sigh

"Heh.. Its been a long time since I've actually had time to do this.." you whisper to yourself, hugging your knees tightly. Staring at the moon and stars always reminded you of the more peaceful times, and to just feel happy. You sat up there for a few minutes before..

"I should've known this is where you were!" A sleepy yet cheerful voice clammed. You saw kokichi pulling himself up next to you.
"Why are you up here?"

"I couldn't sleep.." you gave a smirk to the boy "what are you doing up here? Last time you fell off" he huffed his cheeks

"I was trying to see where you went! I saw you leave your room and I just couldn't take the suspense" he scooted closer to you
"But anyway, what's wrong?" He began to poke your cheek
"Hey hey, whats wrong? Whats wrong? Hey heyy!" You groaned

"Nothings wrong kokichi..! I just couldn't sleep" the boys stared at you

"Well, you can always come and sleep in my room with me" he cooed. You gave him a look

"Kokichi we're to old for that stuff now.. It's weird" you protested. He got even closer

"But I'm really lonelyyy! And i can't sleep either~ I'm really warmmm" he leaned on you

"No.."

"WhaaaAAAAAAAA! Why are you so cold to me now?! I loved youu! I-i just wanted to helpp! I don't want to be alone either!! Whaaaahaaa!" He 'cried'. You looked away

"That's a lie.. Kokichi you little block head shut up before you wake up the hole city" you patted his face. The boy smiled at you

"Nishishi~ true. Buttt, I did mean it when I said I wanted to help you, come onnn! Y'know you wanna~ Besides, If we still can't sleep we can talk so I won't get bored" he offered you. You shrugged

"I don't know.. It's still weird. We're teenagers now and..I don't know its just strange" he huffed

"Hey! Its not like imma do anything pervy to you. Besides~ you say that we're reallyy close friends, and isn't this what close friends do?"

"Eh..Fine. you weren't gonna stop bugging me anyway" you agreed, smiling slightly. The boy smiled. You and him got off the roof and went to his room, though his floor was a messy his bed was clean. He jumped onto it while you simply sat down. The boy rolled over and looked up at you

"Sooo...did you have fun today?" He asked.

"Yeah. Surprisingly leaving the house wasn't so bad" you answered. You two talked about your day for a while, laughing at a few things. You rambled on and on to etchother, Kokichi was enjoying himself. He enjoyed being able to be like this with you and spend time with you. But you didn't know that because kokichi is a mystery.

After a few minutes of talking, you were laying down next to the purple haired boy in a comfortable silence. The moon light shining though the window. You yawned

"Well.. I think I'm finally tired enough to sleep" you started to get up but kokichi grabbed your arm.

"Where are you going?" He asked, you gave a crooked smile

"To my room..? You weren't actually serious about me staying right?" You asked. The boy pouted

"Well I wasn't. But after all this fun talk? Why dose it have to end? Its sooooo boring to just fall asleep! " He playfully pulled you over to him, your face landing onto his chest witch hurt.
"Lets just talk till one of us passes out! Who ever falls asleep first loses and the winner decides punishment!" He offered. You chuckled slightly, getting a more comfortable position, sliding back next to him. Though his arm was still around your neck.

"Alright mister 'make everything a game'. What exactly do you want to talk about?" You ask. The boy thought for a minute

"Welll! How about romantic interest! Since you and Kaede talk about it, witch way do you swing exa-" he cut himself off, he saw you peaceful sleeping. He huffed
"Heh.. lightweight. Oh well! I guess I'll just have to punish you.." he smiles to himself. Though he wanted to cuddle with you, he really did, he also respected you-somewhat. He slipped out of bed carefully, not waking you up. He could have carried you to you room but he didn't really feel like it, so you two were going to switch rooms for that night. He went over and opened your door, your room as clean as ever. He smiled to himself and flopped onto your bed, hugging one of your pillows.

"Nishi! How is her bed soooo much more comfortable?" He said to himself. He shifted a little turning onto his side. He left the door open on both rooms so he could still see you. (Your rooms are just across the hall-).
His face had a small pink tint to it as he stared at you. Though this little prick would never tell you.. he really loved you being his friend, and not leaving or ditching him after all these years. He was always so jealous when Shuichi or Kaede would come into the picture and take you away, though  that could be a lie. You and him grew up together..took care of etchother and more. He wanted to show you how much he appreciated it but didn't want to brake his lying persona. He tried to spend a day with you but that failed miserably.. He sighed and rolled over again.

He smiled devilishly to himself. He had a plan forming in mind to show you how thankful he was, and to make sure you won't abound him for Shuichi who thinks might have feelings for you. He wanted to keep his only bestfriend by his side, not only for his sake.. but just incase detective boy starts to go all Sharloc Holmes  where there dosen't need to be any Sharlocing! He cuddles against your pillow and laughed to himself, surely, this will work.
