《°•× Underneath the Lies ו°》 [Kokichi Ouma × Reader]

15: Open up

"Can we do it now, Y/n?" He asked, hovering over you. You looked away for a moment before looking back up.

"I mean we could..We just have to sneak out" you say. He gets off of you and sits on the edge of your bed.

"But she's still awake. How are you gonna sneak out with her around when you can't even get passed me~" he joked. You rolled your eyes and looked at the time

"Okay, its 7:20. So far, all she dose after dinner is clean up, make a few phone calls, make sure she has her paper work done but usually getting caught up in a TV show. Witch gives us an hour at best. Then at 9:00 she checks on me and says Goodnight. So if we leave right now, we have a good two hours" you say. The leader looked at you, eyes sparkling

"Wow, Y/n! Your sooooo good at getting info! I'm so jealous ~" you smile and gently push him.

"Shut up liar. Now, Lets go on ahead and sneak out the window."
You say, he nodded and went out to the balcony. Since you were older and such, leaving though the window was much more easy.
You two climb out the window and onto the ground safely and quickly ran off to the shopping area of the small neighborhood, about 18 minutes away from your home(when running at least). You two managed to get up onto a roof and sat down, out of breath from rushing over

"W..wow. It feels like forever since..we r-ran like that, huh?" You managed to ask, the boy, still having a smile on his face nodded. You both sit down on the edge, Gazing up to the sky..it was beautiful and clear. Breathtaking.
After a minute, you both calmed down and Kokichi turned to you. He smiled seeing you in the moonlight, and gently took your hand. You cocked your head as he pulled you up and brought you over to a wall that met with the building you two were onto. He took off his backpack and opened it, Pulling out some spray paint cans.

Spray painting didn't seem like much, but its the first thing you and kokichi did together after you ran away. You two weren't able to do it much anymore so you were sorta excited for this.
You grabbed your usual colors and began to paint a logo, Your tag basically.

"Hey Y/n! Y/n, look!" You glanced over and saw kokichi painted a small derpy looking version of Shuichi. You giggle gently..but not much. He noticed and realized.. this would be difficult. He knew something was wrong but, he didn't knew what. He figured, if he wanted to know, he'd have to just be blunt.
He came closer to you
"Y/n, what's wrong?" He asked seriously. You looked at him

"What do you mean? I'm fine"
He glared

"Y'know, Your a really bad lair" he looked at his hand
"There's no point in lying to me. I'll know rather its true or not, since you can't out lie me" you looked down

"I'm fine"
He growled

"Y/n!"
He yelled..This made you flinch..he almost never yells at you like that.
"I know your not fine. You haven't been fine! Why are you lying to me and trying to hide it? Stop being so stupid and tell me what's wrong already!" He yelled again. You stare at him.. and he softened his gaze
"Please.." he whispered, coming closer to you. You looked down

"Everything.." you whimper
"Everything is wrong. I hate it with her.. I hate remembering" tears slowly ran down your face. You weren't usually one to cry, But all the held in feelings were to much now. You felt pathetic
"This hole thing was a bad idea! Everything has been horrible ever since I came back to her! She's so fake and pretends everything horrible she ever did never happened..! She doesn't really care and she never will! She just wants me just to have me!" You whipped the tears from your face
"I hate her.." you whispered. Kokichi put his arms around you and gently pulled you closer, having your head rest on his chest.
"I just want to go home..our home. I want to go there and never leave again" you sobbed gently as he held you. You really weren't like this, you never cried this much before, you never felt like this before. There was a pain in your chest that made the crying worse.
Kokichi gently stroked your hair

"Shhh... Y/n, It's ok. I promise it'll be ok. Don't cry" he cooed gently, hugging you tighter. You two stayed there like that for a while, him comforting you unti you clammed down.

"..sorry Kokichi..I'm such a crybaby" you managed to say. He patted your head

"Aw don't say that..! You've gone through a lot, Y/n. Your fine" he reassured you. You hugged the boy and nuzzled against him gently as the tears finally stopped falling and you felt.. better. He giggled lightly
"Aww, My lil Y/n is still as clingy as when we were kids!"

"Tch" you sit up and look at him
"You were the clingy one, stupid." You smiled at him while looking into his big purple eyes..as he looked into yours. A small pink coated his face but you were sure it was the glow of one of the paint cans. He took one of his hands and cupped your cheek
"Kokichi?"

"The way you look at me is too sweet, even after crying" you blinked at his words and he leaned closer to you
" Its like time always stops, when we have these out of character moments." You chuckled lightly and pushed him away

"Oh stop with the lies already. I can see right through you" he stares at you and puffs his cheeks

"I'm not lyinggg!" He whined. You ruffle his hair

"Sure.. Anyway, we should head back. Its getting late" he crossed his arms and began to pout, you smirked and hugged him as he always did you
"Awww, The lil Koki is upset I caught him lying. There there little one" you teased, though he didn't mind the hug for..multiple reasons, ((( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡  )-imsorry))
He didn't liked being teased

"Let me goo! Your the upset one here! Stop being so mean, Meanie!" He wiggled his way out of your arms and glared at you
"I don't wanna go back yet"

"I know..But I don't want to be able to not even have friends over anymore soo..C'mon. We can take our time getting back.. we're not that short on time" you try and reason. He finally agreed and after finishing the tags you two start the walk back. The night was beautiful and you two enjoyed the walk. Kokichi was happy to finally know what was going on, and you were just happy to feel better. Though you didn't know what you'd do next week.. You couldn't go back to your actual home, And what about Kokichi?
You decided you'd think of something later.. Right now you wanted to enjoy this moment.

You two sneak back in the house and hang out for a little while longer till he had to go, leaving you tired and wanting to sleep forever. And so you kinda did, not more then a second after he left your room you pass out. While sleeping..you found yourself dreaming

You found yourself at Hope's Peak..There was a lot of students there. In the gym, it seemed like a party of some kind. You were with your classmates.. but everyone's faces were black for some reason.
All of a sudden, you appeared in a place you've never seen before. Everyone was walking with you.. when you heard a scream, then another. They just kept coming.
You tried to run but you couldn't, you were frozen as you got hit.

Soon you appeared.. in a different school? It was weird. You tried to look out the window but you couldn't, it was blocked. You walked around and saw.. familiar faces but..now they were white. You blinked and suddenly found yourself in front of a corpse. You stepped backwards and fell, landing behind some kind of podium, everyone was pointing at someone else.. they were a dark pink. Nothing happened until you did as everyone else and saw as the person was lifted by the neck to something..the next scene was horrific, especially after the pink of the person disappeared and you saw..

"No..!" You woke up in a panic, your heart was racing and you were hyperventilating. You glanced around frantically, looking at your surroundings.. you calmed down when you saw you were still in your room. You ran a hand through your hair..

What the hell was that?

Hey guys! Sorry for the long pauses in between updates, Due to school and stuff its kinda hard but I'm trying to work on chapters as much as i can.
This one is short yes, but its something for now. The next one will hopefully be longer.

Sometimes I get a little worn from this book and run out of motivation so If the updates are super spaced out, that means I'm taking a short break. If you want to see more of my writing though, i have another book with Dr oneshots and scenarios that I've been working on for motivation.
