"Karamatsu!" I exclaim and hug him tightly. He stiffened but didn't push me away. "I'm so glad you are okay! I was so worried!" I pull back and kiss his forehead. He glanced at me, then his brothers, and back to me. He looked down and mumbled something but I could barely hear it. "Hm? What?" He glanced back up and had tears in his eyes. He spoke quietly.
"Why?"
I tilt my head in worried confusion. I asked what he meant. He started to cry "Why did you save me?!" He yells and everyone flinched back. "I'm a painful idiot who doesn't deserve to be saved! So why did you save me?!" His voice wavering as he gripped my shoulders before face planting on my chest. I sent a glare to the brothers and they looked away guiltily.
I wrapped my arms around him and rubbed small circles on his back as he sobbed. "Sh~ it's okay. I saved you because you mean a lot to me, and I mean a lot, I don't want to lose you. Not now, not ever." I coo as I comfort him. The moment was interrupted by his parents bursting into the room startling me.
"We came as soon as we got the call." Matsuyo says to me before rushing over with her husband. She immediately embraced Karamatsu "My baby! Are you alright!? Are you still in pain?! Do you need any-" "Matsuyo, Calm down. I'm sure he's okay now. But you gave us quite the scare son." Matsuzō says patting his wife's shoulder. He looked at me "Thank you y/n. For saving him. We are in your debt." He says and Matsuyo nods before kissing Karamatsu's cheek.
"Well I wanted to ask something." I start and they nod. "Can Karamatsu stay with me? I want to help him get better...but I don't think it would be good for him to be around his brothers at the moment." I say glancing over at said brothers "The only one I'd be okay with talking to Karamatsu is Jyushimatsu." Jyushimatsu brightens up and the parents think to themselves. "Well..Considering the situation. I agree with you." Matsuyo says as her husband nods. "I mean you did save him. What do you think Karamatsu?" Matsuzō asks.
Karamatsu glances at his brothers before glancing at me. He gave a weak smile "I want to be with y/n. I-Is that okay?" He asked his parents. They nod and I smile taking a hold of Karamatsu's hand kissing the knuckles. He turned to look at me and I kissed his cheek.
"I promise Karamatsu. With time I'll make you feel better."
