Shattered Mirrors (Depressed Karamatsu x reader)

Chapter 2: Silent

So the paramedics took Karamatsu to the hospital and we were now sitting in silence as Karamatsu still laid unconscious on the hospital bed. When the doctors had looked him over the found small scars up and down his arm and deep scars on his wrists. They said it seemed he had been like this for a while.

"How did I not know about this..this is my fault I should have noticed." I say to myself. The brothers immediately tried to cheer me up in any way they could. "Hey it's not your fault." Todomatsu started and I lift my head from the hospital bed. "I mean we would tease him and we didn't notice he was depressed."

I froze when he said that because it made me realize something. "That's right..you're right it's not my fault." The brothers sighed in relief only to flinch as I stood up abruptly. "IT'S ALL YOUR GUYS FAULT!" I shout and they looked surprised at the outburst. "YOU GUYS TEASED AND BASICALLY BULLIED HIM FOR SOMETHING AS RIDICULOUS AS HOW HE ACTED! HE WASN'T DOING ANY HARM SO WHY WOULD YOU!"

I sigh looking down at Karamatsu. "But I should've done more to stop you. I guess simply telling you to stop wasn't enough." I say sitting down and holding Karamatsu's hand "but maybe this is enough to get you to finally stop." Jyushimatsu spoke up
"y-y/n..we are really sorry...we didn't want Karamatsu to end up like this." I glance his way and saw that his usual smile was gone.

"I know. I know you didn't want this or intend for this to happen, but from experience I know Karamatsu is a fragile man who wanted nothing more than your attention. So your teasing didn't help his mentality..because you didn't know what you were doing or saying, you just copied your brothers, I understand that is not your fault..Jyushimatsu." I say only directing my words to the second youngest.

The boys were silent, I was silent, the whole room was silent and it stayed that way till I felt Karamatsu's hand move slightly before he stirred awake.
