Chapter 17: 3 weeks

I was currently in the waiting room in my friends workplace. I couldn't believe 3 weeks have passed already, I felt like a proud mother when I saw how healthy the puppies looked this morning. A lot has happened in 3 weeks as well; Karamatsu is now working a music shop next to the bakery I work at, Totoko is dating now and you wouldn't believe me if I told you who, actually all of Karamatsu's brothers were dating, and finally my brother had found a girlfriend named Hana.

I was soon called for my turn so I made my way to the room. "Hey y/n. How've you been?" F/n asks and I smile "good. The puppies are good as well." I say as one ran forward a bit till the leash stopped her. F/n crouched down to greet them. "What did you name them?" She asked and I smiled "Karamatsu named them. From right to left there is Ginger, Daisy, Leo, Holly, Nanu, and lastly Romeo." F/n giggled "Romeo?" She asked giving an eyebrow raise "how'd you come up with that?" She asks and I smile.

"Well.."

-Flashback-
"Come back here little one." I say picking up a runaway puppy. I placed her back in the little fenced area. Karamatsu chuckled "Ginger is mischievous isn't she." I quirk my eyebrow "Ginger?" He blushed "um yeah..I thought the name fit her." I smile "what did you name the others?" I ask leaning my head on his shoulder.

He nodded and named them as pointed them out "There's Daisy, Leo, Holly, and Nanu. But this last one" He says picking up "which is unfortunate because he got a grip on my heart. I mean he's so adorable." I giggle "if he caught your heart that quickly maybe he should be named Romeo." I joke but he turns to face me with a glimmer in his eyes. "That's perfect!" I smirk at his use of english.

"Okay then. Romeo it is then."
-Flashback over-

"Oh that's precious." F/n says as she checked the health of the small dogs. "You know. You two act more and more like a married couple each passing day." She says and I blush "I heard from Ichimatsu that he finally moved in one week ago." She says smirking. "Figures you heard from him. You guys are so adorable together." I say in a teasing tone and now she blushed.

"Thanks for setting us up by the way." F/n says and I nod. "No problem." I say and she stops her examination. "All seems great. Are you guys going to keep them? or give them to friends or?" She draws off "yeah, no. We'll be taking care of them." F/n nods and smiles

"I have to ask though. Y/n. Do you think you'll marry Karamatsu?"

"Why ask that all of a sudden?" I asked gathering my dogs. "Well. It's just. We make jokes about you guys being like a married couple and I wanted to know if you would see yourself marrying him." I gave an understanding oh before she spoke again.

"I also understand that if you didn't marry him would be because of..Well you know." She says and I rub my arm "y-yeah...I know. But Kara isn't like that..He would never be the way he was. And yes I do want to marry him, not now obviously but yeah." I say and f/n nods.

"I'll see you later y/n. Sorry for bringing it up." She says and I nod "it's okay. I'll see you later." With a hug goodbye I left the building.

I was happy to see Karamatsu was home so I ran to hug him, the puppies jumping around his legs, happy to see him as well. I pull away slightly and kiss him "welcome home love." Karamatsu says leaning his forehead on my own.

"You seem stressed love, you okay?" He asks caressing my cheek. I nod "just tired. Going from work to f/n's place and back home took a lot of energy out of me I suppose." I say and kiss his cheek. "I'm going to take a warm bath and head to take a nap. Do you want to join me? You look a little tired." I ask and he nods.

And so we headed to the bathroom in our room. As Karamatsu got the bath prepared I stripped of my clothing. Maybe us being so comfortable with each other like this is what made people think we are married I thought.

"Okay the bath is ready. You okay?" He asks removing his hoodie "oh yeah yeah, just thinking." I say and step into the bathtub. I sigh as I sunk in deeper. I felt Karamatsu tap my head and so I moved up to let him in the tub.

"Seriously are you okay? You have a look on your face." Karamatsu asks and I sigh "it's really nothing. F/n and I were joking around when she asked if I saw myself marrying you." I say and he blushed "oh what did you say?" I blushed and I bit my lip "I..I told her I wouldn't mind." I say sinking into the bath, making Karamatsu laugh, but it sounded like a nervous laugh, I didn't ask about it though.

I figured he was flustered by the question.
