Elizabeths POV

"I don't wanna go" I pouted as Kade tried to lead me out of my room
"I know you don't but I need you to do this for me I mean us like everyone I... we miss you," he said stopping and holding my hand
"I'm not dressed," I said trying to stall
"Neither am I i'm not even wearing a shirt" he replied
"I hate him Kade" I groaned
"You don't hate him you just dislike him at this moment trust me so has everyone else lately including himself but we need to change that," he said opening my door I sighed and walked out with him
"Kade they're going to make fun of us for sleeping in my room" I stopped him pulling on his hand
"So what we know nothing happened," he said coming closer and I gave him his arm back
"Fine" I groaned and continued my way down towards the boys who I could hear by the constant bickering and loudness. I turned the knob of the door into the basement and pushed the door open I started down the steps with Kade behind me and they stopped talking
"Elizabeth" Anthony smiled and came in for a hug which I accepted and hugged back
"I'm so glad to see you" I smiled into his shoulder
"Yesh well if Kade who got lost" he put in quotation marks "wasn't hogging you maybe we would've seen you sooner" Chance teased and came in to hug me
"How was your flight, Kade?" Jake asked from the corner of the room looking slightly anxious
"It was fine I'm kinda glad yours was all booked up the later one was quiet" Kade replied
"Chance ready to start?" Anthony said hitting Chance
"Start what?" I asked confused
"Packing your things, of course, you're coming back" Chance laughed and walked out of the basement without leaving me a second to say a thing.
"Jake I'm not going back" I said quickly
"You are I was just mad that's all and I took it out on you a bit more than i should've" he pleaded
"I like being back here its home" I retorted
"You do not mom says you've been acting sluggish and too dependent on her" he laughed
"Jake what do the fans think" I scoffed
"They think you went on a break to see family for a bit" he smiled
"Don't act so proud of yourself" I glared
"Liz we miss you" he pouted while sticking out his bottom lip
"You could've called or texted or anything in that realm you know," I said
"You could've too" he responded
"I'll come back if you set up my room" I said trying to make a deal
"Fine also just going to point this out Kade you never texted me last night so where did you sleep?" Jake asked knowing full well what the answer was
"You never told me which door was the basement and I didn't wanna wake anyone up," he said
"So you thought the basement was upstairs?" Jake smiled
"Shut up Jake I thought maybe you slept in your room and you said it was upstairs" Kade shook his head
"Alright bro whatever you say" Jake smiled deviously and walked away from us to go back upstairs.
"wow he actually managed to convince you pretty easily" Kade laughed
"I like it here but I miss it there more" i smiled
"You know what they say absence makes the heart grow fonder" I told him and jogged up the stairs.

Later that day

"Whoa why are you calling an uber" I asked as Jake had just finished putting his phone down
"Oh I forgot to tell you were leaving in an hour" he yawned
"Your kidding I thought we would leave tomorrow" I scoffed
"Nope the airline had a deal today so the tickets were cheaper" he smiled and I rolled my eyes as I went upstairs and took down suitcases to the living room
"Oh honey it was so nice having you back here and I'm glad you two made up" my mom gushed and hugged me tightly
"We haven't made up I just want to go back" I said "but I missed you too" I smiled and hugged her back
"I'll call your dad over he's going to want to see you before you leave" she said and took out her phone I smiled and sat on the couch next to Chance who was getting comfortable and we watched the game for a bit till the front door happened and my dad came in
"Jake" he said and engulfed him in a hug tightly
"Chance, Anthony good to see you" he said acknowledging them both
"Hello Kade" my dad stiffened and shook his hand hard and angrily I shot up and walked over
"Dad I'm gonna miss you" I said holding his hand so he'd drop Kades and stop crushing him
"I'll miss you too sweetie" he said softening and pulled me in for a hug
"Were gonna have to go here dad
in about ten minutes but I wanted to see you one last time" I smiled and kissed his cheek
"Greg did you want to sit down and watch the game?" Anthony asked
"Sure son" he said politely and sat next to him. We chatted for a bit till Jake's phone dinged and the uber arrived
"Time to go" he said and we all stood up I walked to my suitcases and grabbed two and started hauling it across the floor till Kade reached over my hand and took them both from me
"Thanks" I smiled and he took off to the vehicle.
