Percy

It was déjà vu all over again.

The fall. The darkness. The feeling of hopelessness.

This time, however, it was really bad.

Like really, really, really bad!

I guess I was lucky to have Annabeth last time. Unfortunately, this time her beautiful princess curls and stormy grey eyes were replaced with a creepy, unaging face and spooky, yellow irises, plus the contorted raging scream of the pissed off Primordial goddess.

You could say that the situation sounded bad. You were probably right.

But despite it all, I still had my stupid lop-sided grin plastered to my face.

'An oath to keep with a final breath...'

A promise is a promise and I am hell bent on keeping this one. Gods be damned if I never escape again!
