One day had passed since Alexa left for Chicago. Jade was playing videogames since she didn't know what to do without her girlfriend; their room seemed so empty as Jade's heart and days seemed to never end. Suddenly, her phone rang and she was curious to know who it was.

"Hello there." She answered with an upset tone.

"Hi Jade! It's been so long since we went out together..." it was Rose's voice. "Are you free this Thursday? Me and Ethan wanted to go out to eat something."

"Well..." Jade didn't want to see her again but in the same time, she didn't want to stay at home alone, so she answered: "Sure."

"That's great! We'll see each other at about 9 PM at the pub, okay?"

"Okay."

"Jade, what's the matter?" Rose asked noticing her sad mood. Then she added: "Is it for Alexa?" this made Jade suspicious.

"Alexa's not here." The black-haired girl answered. "She's in Chicago, to visit her parents, and I miss her so bad. I feel so lonely without her..."

"Aw, poor cutie girl." Her tone was so lovey dovey that made Jade a bit upset. "Don't worry, my dear. I'll take care of you this Thursday and I'll give you all the attentions that you want!"

"I don't think this may help me..."

"Trust me, it'll help you for sure. Now I have to go, I'm a bit busy... See you this Thursday, sweetheart!" and she hung up. Jade threw her phone on the bed after selecting some good rock music from it, then she resumed playing the videogames. Unfortunately for her, only sad songs came up, and she couldn't help thinking about how much she missed Alexa. She was lying on the ground, staring at the ceiling and getting lost in her thoughts and she was about to fall asleep, when her phone interrupted that "relaxing" moment, making her a bit angry.

"Who the hell is it?" she cursed, crawling to the bed and reaching for her phone. As soon as she noticed that the one who was calling her was Alexa, her heart started to race.

"Lexi!" she nearly yelled.

"How are you, my love?"

"I'd be lying if I told you I'm fine... I miss you so bad..." Jade declared in a sad tone.

"I miss you too. So, have you got any news?"

"Hum... yes. Guess who had invited me to another dinner party?"

"Oh, God, please, not her..."

"Yes. But there'll be only Ethan with us."

"I should ask him to keep an eye on you for me." Alexa commented.

"Ask him to help me not to get raped by her..." Jade replied ironically.

"Be careful."

"Sure, but what about you? How's it going there?"

"Yesterday I went on a trip with my parents and this evening we'll have a dinner together in a nice restaurant. I haven't told them about us, but I think I'll do it tonight."

"Do they already know that you are...?"

"No, they don't. I've never told them about it, but the time for my coming-out has come, I guess. How about your parents?"

"They already know I'm a lesbian. I've made the coming-out during the period of the High School because I wanted to advice them that I was and I am only into girls."

"How did they react?" she asked curiously.

"Well, not well at the beginning, but then they had slowly accepted it. The first one to accept me was my little brother, Joseph."
