Cheshire looked a the girl in delight. She had blonde hair, not so common, and a black bow, as well as a pretty blue dress with a perfectly white apron. That'd be fixed soon enough, Ches was sure.
But more importantly- much more importantly- she had one of those delicious cakes on her. The sugary confections, most to make you grow. Mmm.
Ever since Cath had turned Her Majesty and started chopping heads, Ches had scattered, and he felt he had gotten too little sweets for his taste after that.
Hmm, the girl probably was the one who'd save them all and fix everything, but who really cared about that? Cake was, by far, the most important.
"Um..." The girl, Alice, started. "Which way should I go?" She asked. A couple paths had appeared before her feet, laid out in every imaginable color and direction. What fun.
"Where do you want to go?" Ches replied, revealing the rest of himself, and turning over onto his back. His striped tail twitched once or twice.
Alice looked a bit worried, and bit her lip as she looked around, then met his slitted eyes. "I-I don't know." She finally answered.
Ches grinned, and started to disappear again. "Then it really doesn't matter which way you go, does it?"
And he was gone, there, but just observing. The girl, Alice, looked around in surprise and contemplation, then decided on a path at random.
But who knew? Perhaps she had a real reason for that specific path. It was a lovely pink-ish-red, twisting and turning ever so madly.
Maybe, though, it was fate- or should he say Time? Who knew really? Life was just so mad sometimes.
Because the chosen path led directly to the Mad Hatter.
Sorry, y'all, I feel like it's a little short, but I ended where I ended and don't think I can cram anymore details into this. Oh, well. What do you think of this so far?
