When Taehyung and Yoongi got home the night of Tae's breakdown in the middle of the city streets, the Alpha had asked him if he could tell Jimin about their conversation. Taehyung had said of course, he wanted the other Omega to know of his feelings and prepare him for the talk they were going to have. The last thing he wanted was for Jimin to feel ambushed.

Everyone else was already in their rooms when they got inside. Yoongi had walked him to his door, pulled him close, and pressed a kiss to his temple, promising that they would sort everything else out the next day.

Sadly, that didn't happen.

The managers had called Namjoon the next morning, saying that even though they were supposed to be schedule free they had booked them last minute for a variety show taping. The publicity would be good, which is something they as a group always need. Taehyung couldn't help but be upset. All he wanted was to figure things out with Jimin and Yoongi, but it seems they were going to have to wait for now.

They all got ready and headed for the car, Taehyung flitting around the edges carefully. He didn't know what ground he and the couple stood on after the night before. But when they got into the car, Yoongi pulled him into the back with he and Jimin. Jimin looked at Taehyung carefully, eyes wide and sad and brows pinched together. They looked at each other a moment, gauging each other, before throwing their arms around each other. They didn't say much, not with everyone else in the car, but Jimin whispered, "I'm sorry," and Tae whispered back, "Shut up, I am too."

They cuddled and scented the whole way to the variety show, having missed each other so terribly. Yoongi had an arm wrapped around them both, a small smile on his lips.

When they finally got home that night, Hoseok begged Jimin and Jeongguk to go to the dance studio with him. Jimin reluctantly agreed, shooting Taehyung and Yoongi a regretful look. They nodded to let him know it was okay. They'd find time to talk later.

While Jimin was gone, Tae and Yoongi cuddled in the couple's room. They didn't talk, not wanting to say anything without Jimin, but the touch and companionship was enough.

They couldn't talk the next day, either. Jeongguk had started to get sick and they were all too worried about caring for him than to take time away to sort out their problems. Jimin and Tae took care of him together, switching out with the others as they became free. It just hadn't felt like the right time.

But then Jeongguk actually started presenting, filling their early morning with a lot of panic and excitement. Now, the members minus Jeongguk and Hoseok were in a company van on the way to the hotel. Yoongi had whispered in Tae's ear that they'd be sharing a room. They could finally talk.

Jimin and Tae cuddle together in the back, with Yoongi on Jimin's other side. Taehyung is excited, of course, but he's also nervous. Nervous for Jeonggukie, but more so nervous about this conversation he's finally going to have with Yoongi and Jimin. They reach the hotel, check into their rooms, and make their way to them. Jin and Namjoon nod at them as they enter their own, and the trio head inside, finally alone.

They drop their bags and eye each other a little warily. No one does anything. Finally, Yoongi sighs and grabs Jimin and Taehyung's wrists, pulling them to the closest of the two queen beds. "It's still so early, yeah? Let's sleep for a little while. We'll have time to talk when we wake up."

So, they curl up together on the bed. Taehyung doesn't think he can sleep, but with berries and sweet bread and sandalwood curling around him, making him feel fuzzy and a little floaty, he can't help but to drift off.

He awakes gradually, later, blinking his eyes open to find sunlight streaming through the window, painting everything gold, and one Park Jimin staring at him. Yoongi is still asleep on Jimin's other side. Taehyung blinks at Jimin, still waking up, and then breaks into a grin. Jimin returns it, bringing a hand up to stroke at Tae's cheek. "You're so pretty." Jimin muses.
