Two-We're Being Watched

When I arrived at Absil's tent, I saw him in the back with another man. I slowly moved closer hoping not to disturb them. But the branches on the gound disagreed with me. "Who's there!" The mysterious man yelled. I was caught. I came around the corner with my hands up. As soon as I stopped moving the guy sarted freaking out. He was walking back and forth, franticly running his hands through his hair, and breathing heavy. Absil calmed him down after twenty minutes of it. "Who are you and why are you here?" He said to me. I could sense the stress and fear in the air. Obviously, something was going on. I looked at the man and then I turned to Absil. "Can you introduce us and lighten the tension here" I said to Absil. With a heavy sigh he began the introductions. "Shadow, this is my..uh..friend Crimson. Crimson this is Shadow." Crimson looked at Absil with a very stern look. "I don't trust him! We can't trust anyone Absil! If the elders found out..." Absil immediately cut Crimson off "Calm down. The council won't find out until your shouting wakes up my family." With that Crimson folded his arms in defeat. "Don't mind Crimson. He worries a lot for his short temper ." I looked over at him and I could see why his name is crimson. His hair was short and fire red. He was wearing a dark red trench coat and darker gloves but it was too dark for me to tell what color. He seemed too think I was nothing but trouble. "Anyways," Absil said, " Crimson and I are sort of......seeing each other." I wasn't that shocked at the secret, but the awkward silence begged to differ. Then as Crimson went to say something I heard a noise coming from the trees "Do you hear that?" I asked them. I guess the look on my face was to serious for them to object. I was staring into the forest looking for any sign of movement. Then I saw a figure run into the distance. Without warning, I dashed into the woods after the figure. He wasn't that fast cause it was right on his tail. As the chase went on, another figure jumped at me from the trees. Is the figure was quieter, I would be in a world of trouble. without any thinking, the figure stopped running, so I stopped too. Both figures are standing in front of me not doing a thing. I couldn't see their faces due to the raggedy hoods they were wearing. "Are you Shadow?" The tallest figure said in a deep voice. "Who wants to know?" I said back not knowing what I'm dealing with. "The Bloodgail Knights are watching you. Do not dissapoint." The little one said in a feminin voice. I listened to see if it was the voice in my dream, but it wasn't. Then the small one took something out of her cloak and raised her hand. I immediately took out the two daggers I always keep on me in case my swords aren't on me. when the girl let whatever was in her hand go, smoke rose from the ground. It was a smoke bomb, they weren't attacking, they were running. The walk back was long. By the time I got back, the sun was rising. Crimson ran up to me after I emerged from the forest. "who was it? where are they? do they know?" he kept bombing me with questions.
