I awoke from my bed to see Crimson shaking me so hard that my arm almost popped out of my socket. "what!" I yelled" at him. "Clover is heading to the lake again." He said. I got dressed and picked up some breakfast on the way out. Clover was still throwing knives at trees when we got there. That's usually the start of her day. "Why are we even doing this? Shadow won't know if we do it or not." Crimson said while eating all the bread. "I promised Shadow that I would watch her." I said while having a small flashback of his demonic glare into my soul. "Don't you have someone else to be looking after."Crimson turned my head to him. He leaned in closer while closing his eyes. That is when I noticed Clover was out of my sight. "wait!" I told him pushing his face away. I scanned the opening where Clover was. She wasn't there, she was making a run for it. "we have to go after her!" I ordered Crimson who didn't respond. I looked to see an empty spot where he stood, I peeked over the ridge to see him at the bottom of the hill. "Are you okay?" A small thumbs up came out from a pile of leaves. Clover is a lot faster then when she was little. I could barely keep up with her now. Crimson tried to catch up to her but he hit a branch and fell. We were losing her. I turned to Crimson who was right by my side, "Do it!" I yelled to him. He came and out his arm on my shoulder. I felt a surge of energy flow through my muscles and all of a sudden, we were in a small clearing ahead of Clover. She almost fell when she saw us standing there "You can't stop me Absil. I have to talk some sense into him." She told me while slowly reaching for her knives. "I can't let you do that Clover. He made his choice and we have to accept it. You can't go chasing after him." I told her hoping she would understand. "I'm going to try! And why do you even care? Why are you trying to stop me?" She yelled at me with a massive amount of anger. That's when a flashback showed up. I was standing next to Shadow watching them load the wagons. "Absil." he said to me. "I had a vision last night that made my decision to go." I stared at him with great confusion. "Zeria is alive." At first I thought he was joking, then I saw his face. It was mixed with relief and depression. "You need to make sure Clover doesn't come after me. She cannot know." He told me while breaking eye contact. "Why not?" I objected. "She will be thrilled to know! we'll go look together!" I was practically jumping with excitement. "No." Shadow broke my joy. "I can't put her in this danger. It's bad enough that you know. That's why I need you to keep your mouth shut and sealed away for eternity." The tone of his voice was unlike any other. I couldn't even explain it. "I can handle this." I told him with a fake grin on my face. He put his hand on my shoulder and whispered in my ear. That is when the flashback ended. " I'm begging you not to do this Clover. It won't end well." She drew her knives and put her arms up ready to fight. "I guess I have no choice." I said putting my claw gauntlets on. WE dashed towards eachother clashing our metal against eachother. She jumped up into a tree so I couldn't see her. I could still here her though. Shadow didn't teach her everything he can do. I jumped at the tree and kicked her to the ground. I jumped down to see her slowly rising from the ground. There was a weird blue glow around her the slowly got brighter and brighter. Crimson showed up behind her and knocked her unconscious. "What was that?" Crimson asked me. "I have no idea. I've never seen anything like it." I said staring at Clover. "Lets take her home. She won't try this again."
