I turned to see Castus laying on the floor unconscious. Aura was bleeding from the left side of her head and Shrapnel broke his left arm. I wasn't looking good either. We can't keep this up. We're gonna die if we continue. "Shadow! I have a plan." Iris said from behind me. She was laying on the ground with a broken leg and couldn't walk. I got to her as quickly as I could. Aura followed me. "Shoot." I told her "I have enough energy for one more spell. So I'll heal you and aura for a short time and you too have to launch an all out attack. if we're lucky, we can leave," I ran the odds in my head to come into three outcomes. one, we win, two, we lose, three, we all end up in the infirmary. "Lets do it!" Aura said to Iris. She stood up and got ready to cast. Suddenly a wave of energy swept over Aura and me. I felt good as new. "Ill distract him with a barrage while you sneak around and let out a barrage of explosives." I ordered Aura. She took off to the left as I charged directly at the commander. "oh, one last attack." he said putting his shield up. I raised both me swords to my right side and swung one down with all the force I could. As soon as my sword made contact, I swung the other one up from the ground with as much force as the first. He jumped back just in time to avoid the blow, but still didn't see Aura. "Now!" I yelled at her before I ran in for another strike. Shar turned to block the barrage leaving his back wide open to me. I took a small oil pouch and coated my swords in it for a little extra kick. As I continued running, a bomb flew over Shar towards me. I rose up my swords to shatter the bomb to set my swords on fire. I jumped and brought both swords down as fast as humanly possible. Shar clicked a button on his shield which broke into another shield and swung it backwards deflecting my attack. When the smoke cleared, he was perfectly fine. We failed. Aura was panting so hard the I'm pretty sure Shrapnel could hear it in the other side of the stadium. I turned back to Iris to see the most defeated person in my life. She fainted after due to exhaustion. It was only Shrapnel left. I couldn't move, I couldn't even speak I was so exhausted. Commander Shar put his shield away. "We'll try this again tomorrow." he said disappointed as he walked out. We have a lot of work to do.
