We were all gathered for round two with our commander. For weeks, We have been training to beat him this time. He entered the arena and drew his shield and readied himself. "Alright guys, remember the plan and stick to it. we've come too far to lose now." Iris said. We all stood there waiting for the right time to strike at him. Shrapnel and Castus rushed him from two different sides hoping he couldn't block both. Aura launched a barrage of knives so Shar couldn't move his shield while Iris started cooking a spell for the both of us. Shrapnel and Castus weren't giving an inch and Aura didn't stop throwing knives. He was at a halt until I saw his shield start changing into Shrapnel's sword. "Anytime Iris!" I yelled at her. "I'm trying!" the yelling back. He swung the blade upward cutting Castus' arm. "Now!" Iris said as a white pad formed on the ground. I stepped on it and it launched me into the air. I was so far up I could see the whole arena below me. Another pad formed and stopped me from going any further. I drew my two back swords and put a small powder that formed into lightning that coated my sword. I lunged down with all my might going faster then the speed of sound. I'm guessing they heard me falling cause everyone looked up and started running. All that was left was Shar who turned his sword back into a shield and rose it. I brought my swords down so hard that lightning scattered in every direction possible. The whole earth shook due to the amount of force. The smoke didn't settle for a while. I stood there waiting to see the devastation waiting to be seen. As the smoke cleared, I saw Shar laying in the ground with his shattered shield by his side. My blades were both shattered in little pieces all over the place. We finally won. The medics ran in and took Shar to the infirmary and left us alone in the arena. No one spoke a word. The silence was fitting for us.
