                       Carter's POV

When the doctor finally said I could go, they had security escort us out, to make sure a mob wouldn't reopen my wound... again. Ashton drove at a brisk pace, scaring all of us.

When we got back to the mansion, Ashton stormed upstairs.

"Guys, what happened to Ashton?" I asked

"He's fine.  Probably having his man period." Calum joked.

"Oh." I said, walking to the sink. I grabbed a paper towel and wet it. I tried to wash off some of the blood from Luke's shirt that he gave me before we went to IHOP.

"Luke, I'm sorry about your shirt. I'll buy you a new one." I said.

"It's fine! Don't worry about it!" he said. I sighed.

"I do, however, think you look terrible in your new shorts. I mean, SOOOOO LAST SEASON" Luke joked, gesturing at his boxers I was wearing. His boxers were huge so I had to tie them up with a ponytail.

"Do you know what that means?" Calum said.

"Here it comes" Michael facepalmed.

"SHOPPING!!!" Calum said acting very feminine.  I laughed so hard my rubs hurt.

We got to the mall and I checked my back pocket for my wallet.

"Guys, I think I left my wallet in my bag and left my bag in the gas station." I sighed

"Oh come on Carter. Did you really think we'd make you buy your own clothes?" Luke said.

"No, guys I can't let you do that. I already live in your mansion rent-free." I argued

"Carter. We are rich. Besides, we don't really have many friends.  We want to spoil you." Luke stated.

"Guys, no." I said stubbornly.

"Look, whether you come with us or not, we are buying you clothes so you may as well pick the ones you like." Calum interjected. I decided to give in since they didn't look like they were going to back down.

"I love y'all so much!!!" I hugged them. Michael stared at me and I kissed him on the cheek and he held my hand.

As we got out of the car I asked, "Don't you think a mob will come and kill you?" I asked skeptically. Then, Calum and Luke  put on fake mustaches and glasses and Michael put on a baseball cap and sunglasses.

"Nope." they said in unison.

Shopping with the guys was like shopping with toddlers. They had no fashion sense whatsoever and just grabbed stuff off racks.

"What are your sizes?" Calum asked

"I am a size 2, and have size 6 feet" I said. With that, Calum and Luke sprinted into the nearest store and grabbed anything they could find. Michael and I laughed. I picked a cute crop top off a rack and showed it to Michael for approval.  When I saw him, he was trying a floppy beach hat on, we both fell into a fit of giggles. We heard screams and Calum was riding in a trolley, with Luke pushing him, while Calum was grabbing random stuff. They were adorable.

"Carter,  I'm gonna go to the sports section" Michael said "meet you at the food court in 2 hours." he kissed my cheek.

"Okay." I said as he walked off, but stopped in the middle of the door frame.

"Make sure they dont break anything." Michael laughed. We heard a crash followed by Luke running up to us yelling "I THINK I KILLED CALUM!" Michael sprinted away.

After I went through the mountain of clothes Calum and Luke picked out, putting most away and adding some clothes I picked out, we paid and went to M.A.C. They helped me find a nice lipstick and we bought almost the entire store. Then we went to Prada and, despite my objections,  they bought me 3 new purses. Next we went to check out some shoes and Calum and Luke had the time of their lives. Calum put on 6 inch heels and Luke wore flowery wedges. They had pretended they were on a catwalk and struck various poses. I practically cackled.  I was sitting down in one of the stores' chairs and tried on some flats.

When we had finished shopping, we still had 20 minutes before we had to go meet Michael,  so we rode on the little carousel meant for children. All three of us sat on one pony. I was in front,  then Luke, and then Calum.

"HIGH HO TO NARNIA WE GO!" Calum screamed.

"You don't take a pony to Narnia, you go inside a wardrobe." Luke corrected.

When we finally met up with Michael, he had done a lot of shopping too, just not from the sports store.

"What are those?" I asked gesturing to his bags.

"They're called plastic bags. You see, people use as an alternative to paper bags. it helps save trees." he said.

"It may help trees, but in the making of those bags, it also causes air pollution." I retorted.

"Do you know what else causes air pollution?" Calum interjected, "Luke's morning breath." Luke playfully slapped Calum.

"Ready to go back?" Michael asked.

"Yeah." I answered.
