J A C K - F R O S T
"Woohoo!" I yelled as the wind picked me up. I twirled in circles and touched the clouds. Life's good, life's good.
I usually hang around where I came from but now I guess I'll go to other places. Europe? Sure.
"Hey wind! Take me to Europe!" I yelled, and I zoomed through the air flying to a random place in Europe. This is the life, y'know. No rules, no responsibilities. It's as good as it sounds--being alone, y'know.
"Whoa! Hey! Take it easy!" I said, as I started to bump into trees. Well, this is pretty harsh. The wind stopped, and I fell. Oh crud. I yelled, and landed on the concrete floor and winced.
"Ah, dangit." I mumbled, and slowly stood up. That hurt, I rubbed the back of my neck. Ouch. I looked around and I saw a lot of people all excited and such.
"Really? The princess was cursed when she was born?" I heard a lady say to another...lady. Yeah, that makes sense.
"Oh, yes! The king and queen are very worried that there is no other way to save the princess and get rid of the curse." She said, and I awkwardly scratched the back of my head. This is weird...
"Ahh, I'm at a kingdom." I said, and the ladies turned towards my direction.
"Mabel, did you hear that?" The lady asked, and Mabel shook her head. Whoa, can they see me? My hopes starting rising up.
"Hmm, I think it was our imagination." She said, and they walked past me. Nope, they couldn't see me. Tough luck.
But who's this princess they're talking about? I got curious, and I started flying towards the castle. I quietly went inside through a window. Not that it matters though, nobody could see me. Or hear me. I think, I'm not sure right now.
I walked around waving at people walking by. If a person could see me, they'd probably think I was insane if they knew that nobody but them could see me. That made sense, right? Don't answer that.
I peeked into a room, and raised my eyebrows as I saw a little girl in a crib. Should I be in here? Probably not, but oh well. You only live once. Ironic because I lived twice, not once. But then again, I'm dying everyday. Too much thinking for me.
I walked inside and I waved hello the the baby. I was surprised when she sorta waved back. I reached out and checked if she could see me by poking her nose.
It touched her, she can see me. I smiled.
"Hey little fella!" I said, and she giggled. I made some snowflakes and let it touch her face. She blinked, and I bit my lip.
She started to sneeze.
"Uh....are you okay...?" I asked even though I knew she couldn't understand me. I heard voices and I quickly jumped out of the window, hiding like how Peter Pan did to Wendy Darling. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the little princess' hair turning platinum blonde, and her skin was very pale.
The queen and the king was in the room looking around with wide eyes.
"Oh my, Elsa!" the queen said to her husband. They called their staff, and left the room for just a little bit. I looked back at the princess one more time and waved before going into the forest.
