Shawn and Juice kept things up like that for a few weeks. She tried to not go to the clubhouse any more than she had before and Juice would go to her place once he was done with club business for the day. They usually would eat a late dinner, sometimes they would watch tv or a movie, and almost everynight ended with them in Shawn's shower or bed. On one occasion the night ended on Shawn's kitchen counter. Juice had offered to help wash dishes after Shawn cooked for them and it turned into a flirty water fight.

One night, Shawn was looking over a pizza menu, wondering if pineapple really belongs on a pizza, and waiting for Juice to show up so they could order food, when she heard a bike pull up out front. She got up to see who it was since Juice knew to park in her garage and saw her father getting off his Harley. She started to panic and pulled her phone out to text Juice.

Don't come just yet. My dad is here.

After she sent the text, she went to the front door to let Tig in.

"Hey, Dad," Shawn greeted him.

"Hey, sweetheart, how you doing?"

"Fine, come on in. Want a beer or anything?"

"No, thanks, Shawnie. I was in the neighborhood at Clay's and wanted to check in. Haven't seen ya in a couple weeks. You talk to your sisters recently?"

"Have you?" Shawn asked sarcastically.

"They're your sisters," Tig reasoned.

"They're your daughters. And if they were here they'd remind you that they're sisters and I'm just their half sister."

"Why don't you give Fawn a call? You and her were tight, right?"

"When I was 6," Shawn pointed out. Then her phone buzzed in her hand.

Shawn looked at her phone. It was a text from Juice.

In your garage. I'll wait here.

Shawn looked up from her phone. "Sorry, it's just a girl from work. Is this really the reason you're here?"

"While I was at Clay's. Gemma came in and was mad as a hornet. Did you know Tara was back in town?"

"Yea, she was here for her dad's funeral. Wait, is she still here?"

"Yea. She got a job at St. Thomas. She's a doctor now."

"I didn't know she was still around. We saw her the night of Gemma's dinner. Jax told me not to tell Gemma. Said he would. When I didn't hear anything about it, I just figured Tara had left, again."

"Alright, well, tell Gemma that if she asks. Hopefully, she won't be too mad at ya." Tig started for the door.

"I don't see why she'd be mad at me at all, but ok."

Tig paused and looked at Shawn. "It's Gemma."

"Good point."

"Gotta go, call your sisters."

"Bye."

Shawn waited until her dad was back on his bike and waved as he pulled away. She then went back inside and to the back door. She walked to her garage and opened the door. Juice was there under the hood of her car. Juice looked up when he heard the door open.

"Hey, sorry, I didn't see your text until after I was here," he explained. "What Tig need?"

"Oh, nothing. Just wanted to warn me that Gemma's pissed about something and guilt me over not calling Fawn and Dawn."

"You should call them."

"Do you call your sister?"

Juice thought for a second and then closed the hood of her car. "Good point."

"What are you doing in there anyway?"

"You need an oil change. I'm working in the garage tomorrow. Why don't you bring it in and I'll do it?"

"Really?"

"Yea. It'll give them a chance to see us together. Ease them into it, right?"

Shawn smiled. "Right."

They left the garage and went into the house.

"So, what did you decide for dinner? Pizza or Chinese?" Juice asked.

"How do you feel about pizza with pineapple on it?"

"Sounds wrong, but we can try it." Juice pulled out his phone and ordered the pizza.

"Let me pay for the food, please?" Shawn requested. Juice never let her pay when they got take out.

"Nope."

"Hey, you are going to let me pay for the oil change tomorrow, right?"

"Hell no."

"Juice," Shawn complained.

"Ok, you can pay for it," Juice relented.

"Really?"

"Not in cash, though."

Shawn raised her eyebrows. "Mr. Ortiz, how do you want me to pay for it then?"

Juice shrugged. "I bet you can think of something."

"Yea, I bet I can."
